Kings Inn — Hotel in Kingsburg

I only stayed here one night on 5/7/14 and the clerk when I arrived was quite rude. The price on the sign said said $33.99 which she said was wrong but they can't change it, wont change it is probably more like it so they can get you to pull off the freeway. She quoted me $55 a night, $20 more, I had to argue with her and got the rate to $45 which I found out is the rate on priceline. Should have booked it online but it was late and i was tired. She followed me to the room to again ask if i was alone I guess she didn't believe that I was by myself, that would have been $10 more. Nothing like being treated like a liar or a criminal. The room was clean and the $45 is fair I just don't like being treated like that. It is located next to the train tracks and the train comes by every hour to shake you out of bed and blast there horn. Next time I will pay a little extra to get a good...

If I could give this motel a zero I would. Unfortunately, the lowest rating I can give is a one. Even that is too high for this flea trap. The first room we were given reeked of urine and the furniture was broken. We were stuck in the middle of long-term tenants who have their possessions out in front of the rooms. Your choice of noise is highway 99 noise or a train that runs through about every hour. We were awoken at 730 am with someone asking if we were staying another day. At 9am they knocked on the door and walked in with a pass key (there are no interior security locks). I guess they wanted to clean it? They spoke little English, so I had no really why they just walked in our room. The pool was locked and filthy. I would sleep in my car before I stayed in this flop...

There was a mix up on the arrival date i booked for a work trip. When o arrived a day ahead of time to explain...i was very pleased that they were so quick to fix the problem. They even allowed me to check in early so i could get to work at ease knowing my accommodations were taken care of. There was a slight flicker of a bulb i informed management about before leaving to work and when i returned during a break i saw that it was promptly repaired. Old school charm and convenient location for travelers. They even have a pool! I would love to come back during the summer months.
