If you're looking for a hidden, private getaway on the beautiful Albemarle Sound (a lake teeming with river otters and other wildlife), surrounded by forest with free kayaks and bicycle amenities, this is your paradise home away from home. They have Tesla chargers right in front of the inn, which is a godsend as there aren't many EV chargers in OBX. The view from the swinging chairs on the deck is priceless. If you want the typical beach town vibes, then you can just bike/drive 10 minutes down the street, too! This is a great location in Kitty Hawk near a Food Lion, Walmart, Harris Teeter, and (my personal favorite) Cosmo's Pizzeria. Has board games and books available for guests.

I came to the inn during one of the most difficult times of my life, dealing with personal health issues and a close family member being hospitalized. On the first day of my stay, Greg welcomed me, and after a friendly conversation, I mentioned I was hungry and would enjoy the muffins and fruit left on my table. I probably looked like I was going through a very hard time because less than 30 minutes later, Linda came knocking on my door with a fruit tart slice and packaged waffle treat saying she heard I was hungry. It was so uplifting. Throughout the rest of my stay, Greg and Linda checked in on me and treated me like I was their own family. I also asked to use one of the free kayaks, and Greg took photos and videos to send to me even when he never had to.

I can't tell you how life-changing this experience has been for me at a time when I needed it most. I have never experienced such warmth and kindness from any place I have stayed, and I have traveled to Korea, Japan, and both coasts of the US. They say a sick person only wants one thing, and that's to be healthy. I genuinely felt healthier being here with such a kind and warm couple while being surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the property.

My wife and I stayed here in Sep of 2013, and LOVED it. Best three days, of 20 years of B&B’s from Cali to the East coast, in this price range. We viewed their web pages on their site and comprehended what they were promising. We looked at their tour of the rooms online. We live outside of Austin Texas. This means we will most likely never get back. Under the influence of the exquisite and eclectic taste which they hold, we found ourselves waiting for our time. We found them to be very truthful and honest in their approach to running the Inn. Everything they did was aimed at building an ambiance filled with sweet fuel for the hottest in erotic fantasy and romance. If you are in the mood or have a need for something naughty or rekindling and want to take the time out of your and your love ones life this is the place to book. Food, Bed, Room and View all allow you to find yourself redirected into each other and your love…it starts when the sun sets early behind the storm clouds to the west, increasing moderate winds put a chop on the surface waters of the sound as the curtains flow in the breezes that come to your room bringing warm fresh air and romance. My last compliment is that they have so much concern about you, that Yoplait is the choice yogurt which is Kosher and use by most all who practice some form of dietary food laws, such as Jews, Muslims, Vegans, and Hindus alike, my respect and praise.
