Wyoming Inn — Hotel in La Barge

Wyoming Inn was not what I have expected. Neither was the owner Gal. I never in my life experienced racism and hatred the way I experienced at this hotel, towards my small little kiddos also. My family and I was towards this way due to business and the business paid her for our family stay there until our time was up. Well every morning while my husband was at work, she would bang on the door and forced my kids and I out of the room stating that it was mandatory that she had to come inside the room everyday to clean. I was baring child and had 2 kiddos so this was very overwhelming for me in the heat with no chairs outside. Fast forwarding to another day where my husband coworkers had a party inside their rooms and was very loud while my husband was at work. She automatically assumed that it was my husband causing trouble and tried to kick us out of our room. I had to explain to her that my husband been at work all day and is still at work, therefore my husband has nothing to do with that party. Going forth, she gotten so frustrated that she could not find a legitimate reason to get us out that another day that she put my kiddos and I out to clean the room, she used my body exfoliating brush to clean toilets with while we was gone, it was feces all on my brush. My family and I are nice and honest people with no reason to bother anyone, morale of the story, she made sure her obsession came to reality, by knocking on our door and stating that she was sorry, but she can't continue to let our kind stay here. We stayed at The Wyoming Inn -Labarge. First I want to be honest, I am not used to staying in older motels. I usually opt to stay in a hilton or at very least a best western. We were on a fishing trip amd needed a close place to stay. I was skeptical at first but when we got here and I met with the lady who runs the front desk. I thought this is the sweetest lady I have ever met. We went to the room. And it was the cleanest room I have ever been in. I checked the mattress, not 1 stain. The furniture is a bit older. But in very good condition. The water pressure is Amazing! There is no coffee pot in the room but we brought our own. There is a flat screen with a very large tv package and free wifi. There is a mini fridge and microwave. There is also a gas grill outside your room so thats great. The heating and air worked very well. Honestly for the price, you could not find a better...

Bring everything, but the kitchen sink for a good nights sleep. This Inn doesn't have all the items that we were used to having such as, an alarm clock, little shampoo bottles, and you have to call to have an iron, ironing board, or hair dryer in your room. You'll want to bring your own pillows, these ones were very old and used. The rooms do have a TV, fridge, and microwave, you just have to make sure they are plugged in. The front desk people sleep in on the weekends, so when we called for some help we didn't get an answer back for a couple of hours. On the bright side the mattresses are great!
