So much more than a luxurious bed and breakfast! Cheryl and Sam take great care in looking after guests personally with immaculate details in such a warm and glorious home. The decor includes all things Kentucky and horses curated with care for each guest suite. Breakfast is sumptuous, delicious, and prepared in an open kitchen so guests can converse with Cheryl as she prepares to individual needs and taste. Cheryl is completely attentive to all the needs for the health of guests during these times. There are so many places to be and things to do on the estate. We enjoyed as many as we could fit in, but could not possibly cover everything in one weekend! We had a wonderful time with the horses, Sam the wonder lab, and saw the kitty. So much bird life to hear and watch while in the hot tub. We played pool in the game room by our suite, the Turf Room downstairs where we also enjoyed our private patio. The room was so comfortable! It was so easy to sink into the plush mattress and sleep, and the bathroom toiletries, towels and robes were such high quality. We want to return and keep our new friendship going with Cheryl. Thank you for a tremendous beautiful weekend....
Read moreMy husband and I (along with our friends from France) just spent two nights at this absolutely gorgeous B&B in La Grange, KY. Just look at the beautiful photos on the website and imagine that it is even more beautiful in person -- so peaceful and relaxing. We were warmly greeted by Cheryl (our gracious hostess) and her two friendly doggie companions, Sammy and Angel -- she then showed us our rooms and the rest of the spacious accommodations (which were all completely open to us during our stay). Our time here was definitely a 5 STAR experience, from check-in to check-out, including delicious breakfasts, perfect sleeping, a private race track experience watching the thoroughbreds training, etc. -- if you haven't been to Kentucky Horse Country, book this place now -- you will not want to miss this lifetime experience!! Highly recommend -- a truly positive, wonderful two nights at the Bluegrass...
Read moreThis was our second time staying with Cheryl at Bluegrass Country Estate and, as always, it was a very special delightful experience. Cheryl has been doing this for many years and it's very apparent she loves what she's doing and has lots of returning guests. We (my husband, sister and brother-in law) stayed for 4 nights, 4 delicious gourmet breakfasts, a full day Bourbon Trail Tour recommended by Cheryl, trolley tour of Louisville, Horse Barn tour and dinner in Barn 8, wonderful dinner restaurants . . . and the added benefit of company from Sammy (the "smiling" doggy) and the two horses as well -- on beautiful grounds in a beautiful home with a hot tub, swimming pool, theatre room, exercise room (everything you would want and/or need in your accommodations). Needless to say, we will return . . . and YOU need to book this remarkable...
