My best friend & I came down to LaGrange for a few days to celebrate my birthday & for a short 'getaway' from all the election stress! We have traveled extensively over the years, lived in England for quite awhile and this was honestly one of the BEST B&B's we have ever stayed out! The grounds are spacious & meticulous and the guests (Francesca & Don) were two of the most accommodating hosts we've ever had. ||We stayed in the 'Gatsby' & the 'Nantucket' and everything was perfect. Clean beyond belief, luxurious bed linens and all have access to a 'guest lounge', where you can help yourself (24/7) to drinks, snacks, games, etc. ||They have taken extra precautions with the Covid virus to make sure everyone is safe. The breakfasts were served in a gorgeous dining area, and the menus both days were fantastic. (Francesca does all her own cooking/baking). ||The current owners have sold the B&B to move out of state. So 'Michelle' is now the new owner and she proved to be every bit as wonderful and accommodating.||We definitely look forward to returning to this lovely B&B.||It is truly as wonderful as the pictures indicate.||Do yourself a favour, and book at this B&B when in & around...

This property was easy to find with plenty of signage (an added plus when you have a late arrival). From arrival to our departure, our hosts, Shannon and Bjorn, were friendly, accessible and helpful. The house is expertly designed to accommodate multiple guests without crowding. The guest pantry on the same level as the bedrooms offer coffees, teas, all kinds of soft drinks and snacks.
Each morning we were greeted with an awesome breakfast. Shannon outdid herself with taste and presentation.
The best space is the home theater. After exploring the area (lots to see and do and only about 30 minutes from Louisville), it was wonderful to relax in the home theater that is fully stocked with any adult beverage you might want. The secret speak easy has a beautiful bar and game room-perfect for an area to enjoy a variety of sports events.

The charm of Pillow and Paddock simply cannot be put into words. We stayed in the Paddock apartment and all my cowgirl dreams came true.
This place is amazing. You can soak in a gigantic tub while listening to the horses whinny outside your window. Escape to the prohibition era to a hidden speakeasy in the basement. Curl up with a book beside one of the multiple fire pits and listen to the birdsong.
I was consistently wowed by Shannon’s attention to detail. Anything you could possibly want was provided. Not only that, but the item often turned out being antique, bespoke, and of the highest quality.
Pillow and Paddock is an extremely idyllic setting. As a native Kentuckian, i think I can say that the area boasts all the best things Kentucky has to offer. Beautiful green pastures, a babbling creek, the charming little train loving town of La Grange, proximity to Louisville.
