Not Veteran or pet friendly.
The management of this location is terrible and inconsistent with what they say. I am a 50% disabled vet and have a dog with me since I get ptsd night terrors and even though the dog isn’t a service animal it does help me get through my night terror when I get them. He is also extremely well trained which all the staff in the hotel have seen. Also I have stay in hilton hotels about 300 night in the past 2 years and never had any issues except for this one.
One day people at the front desk tell me that I can keep my dog in the restroom then the next he has to be in a kennel. Which is understandable but getting flipped flopped around is infuriating.
I also thought I had made an arrangement with management where I only wanted service on Mondays since my stay is so long I would like to keep some kind of privacy to which they agreed to. Then I am getting scorned by the manager Maria in the hallway that the people tried to go into my room to service but my dog was not in a kennel. This was around like four other people which is extremely embarrassing and also unprofessional from the manager Maria. Later I confronted her about it later and told her that is so far from okay to do to another person and now her tone and confrontational attitude did a 180 and tried acting like she was just trying to seem all high and mighty around her other workers. This also happened during my lunch as I take time out of my 30 minute lunch just to make sure the dog isn’t making a mess inside which is more that most other guests with dogs can say.
I also have nanny cam videos of them going into my room when I asked them not to due to me wanting to have some sort of semblance of privacy due to my prolong stay. Also have video of the interaction I had with hotel staff in case I am told I am lying. I would not recommend this hotel if you have a pet or are staying a long period of time as they will not allow you to have your own personal space. Additionally do not take the word of the front desk workers and managers as they do not stand by what they say. If you have issues I would ask for the owner as that is always the fall guy on why they can’t honor what they said before hand. Am currently still check in but will be checking out once my company is able to accommodate me in...

Staff is extremely helpful and courteous.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable, very large space. Rooms are very modern with wood, chrome, piano black surfaces, and tasteful color choices. Rooms have a thermostat for full auto mode, it's nice no not have to constantly change the fan speed and temp. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Also includes a large LG TV with Direct TV. Restroom is spacious and shower is large, black granite counter is a nice touch.
The lobby is tastefully decorated and modern, common spaces are clean and comfortable and designed well.
Free grab bags for breakfast include apples, muffins, a granola bar, and a bottle of water. Very nice for someone like me who is always running out the door in a hurry.
Breakfast services are above any hotel I've ever stayed in. Clean buffet style cafeteria with waffle iron, oatmeal, cereal, juice and a fully stoked water refrigerator. There's various coffee and tea choices as well as hot cocoa, with variety of creamers.
Guest laundry room is available, very clean and looks like they wipe all surfaces every day.
There is also a shop inside the hotel with most items you'd need. It's better than running to the gas station, especially after dark when everything is...
Read moreWe were driving through the night and decided to find a hotel room around 4:00 am. After several frustrating calls to other hotels that sent us through automated systems or quickly told us they were fully booked, we were starting to feel exhausted and a bit hopeless. But then we called The Hampton Inn in Carrizo Springs, and the experience was a breath of fresh air.
A real person answered by the second ring (at 4:30 am!), cheerfully confirmed they had a king bed available, and invited us to come right over. When we arrived, the young man working the night shift at the front desk greeted us with a smile and got us checked in quickly. We wanted to use points for the stay, and even though he wasn’t sure how to apply them through the system, he went the extra mile. He called someone for guidance at that early hour, and they picked up right away, helping him sort everything out within minutes.
It’s amazing how something as simple as answering the phone and showing genuine hospitality can make all the difference. That kind of personal touch is what sets businesses apart, and we were so grateful for it. Our room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after a long night on the road. If we find ourselves passing through again, we’ll definitely be...
