The miles of trails available for both hiking and horseback riding are great! The resort offers kayaking opportunities nearby off the trails and the RV facilities are top-notch. You can either park your own RV or rent one on the property, and you'll find the campgrounds incredibly clean and meticulously maintained. They have availability of water, electric, and sewer hookups, as well as stalls or paddocks for your horses, which has made my stays super comfortable and convenient! During the hot months, the pool is a perfect spot to cool off and relax. The resort also has a full kitchen and bathhouse available for guests' use.

The owners and staff are also some of the nicest individuals you'll ever meet, and the sense of community here is so warming. I've made some wonderful friends during my visits, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere is something that keeps me coming back. I love camping out here over a campfire with my friends. Wow!! Black Horse Resort Ranch was so much more than I expected it to be! I attended a camp out retreat and the accommodations were perfection! It was so amazing to have fresh hot showers in clean air conditioned bathrooms after having fun swimming in the wonderful big pool! The horses had plenty of space to be and we were able to show them some love! The kitchen and dining area is spacious and has all your cooking needs! The property includes miles of lush green horse riding & hiking trails that are beautiful to wander around on and enjoy the serene quiet nature of the Ocala forest. There are plenty of camping tent spots and RV hookup spots so bring the whole family & friend gang with you! Danielle, the owner of the ranch is so sweet and accommodating to all of the guests and she displays such a genuine love and connection to the ranch and its guests following right in her mother’s footsteps. Definitely book a weekend at the Black Horse Resort Ranch, you won’t be disappointed and will leave with your next visit already...

We've been here 3 1/2 months and are enjoying it. We've met lots of great people, made friends and enjoy wandering between campfires at night. Joann is friendly and accommodating. She tries to set your horses up close to your site. We had friends that brought their RV to visit for a couple of weeks and she went out of her way to put them in an adjacent spot for us. She's busy but if you're polite and patient she'll make sure you are accommodated. The regulars here are just as accommodating and always welcoming and helpful. We work from our RV and have found the place to be a very peaceful place to stay. It's surrounded by the Ocala Forest with lots of great trails to ride and walk right from the property. There's another park just west of here that is a great place to fill your propane tanks and a hardware store the other direction. We get our groceries and supplies in the Villages area nearby and there's plenty to do and see...
