Country Aire Bed Breakfast — Hotel in LaFayette

What a wonderful property. I felt like we stepped into a place filled with peace e and chill. We came for a weekend getaway.

We stayed in the hen house. The cottage was super cute it had a kitchen a small living area with a tv and a queen size bed in one area a hallway with a bedroom with a bathroom at the end of the hall. Kerig coffee pot. A front entrance with a view of the beautiful gardens, and a back door with a view of the goats and chickens. Around the corner was the beautiful pool. We came to relax Nd that is exactly what we did. Susan was a fabulous house and breakfast was yummy.

I dont want to complain but for your information I have mobility issues. The beds were both to high. I ended up sleeping on t he love seat because even with the step stool, it was to high to climb in. My husband had trouble, and he is 6ft tall. My adult daughter said she struggled and was afraid to get out of her bed in the middle of the night.

There were front steps but no railing however there was a ramp that led to the back door That I appreciated. But getting to the pool area from the back had cinderblock scary steps. would have appreciated a ramp or stairs with a railing. Please lower the beds snd we would come again.

If you want a getaway away from the hustle and bustle come here. If you just need a place to stay. Then stay here. Susan was an awesome host and the property...

Susan is the absolute best hostess ever! Loved the "Hen House" in which we stayed. Everything was clean and tidy with a great country atmosphere. Enjoying our dinner on the back deck while the goats visited us was a great experience. The pool was awesome and the 2 young men that lived on the property, Who we befriended, were a joy to hang out with and get a good country lesson from. A first class experience all the way! Can't wait to go back...

This was the most amazing experience. Susan, the Inn Keeper, was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. She Is such a kind and sweet person. Her cottages are beautiful, authentic, and very well kept and clean. Our family enjoyed every moment, especially the pool. This will not be our last stay! We will be back and we can’t to see you all...
