The Ruffs have nailed it! Their intent was to restore the old Canton hotel to it’s original glory, and they’ve done a fabulous job! Stepping through it’s doors is like goin back in time. A beautiful victorian interior with wrap around decks for gorgeous lake and sunset views. Their welcoming staff and layout makes You feel right at home. Our room was historic and warm, and provided top notch comfort. We loved the speak easy tavern and rear patio. We were blessed with an extraordinarily welcoming fun crowd that belted thru some awesome karaoke classics. The coffee bar and breakfast were phenomenal and came with great conversation with one of our hosts. We are looking forward to returning in the summer for the backyard bands. If You’re seeking a truly exhilarating warm and welcoming private getaway with amazing historic feel, this is it! The owners are connected with local activities and can direct You to all Canton, Cadiz and the lakes have to offer. Many thanks to Joey and Allison for a wonderful experience. Your hard work and dedication is unsurpassed and shines brightly! As a Canton native, I can’t begin to express how much You bringing this iconic staple back to life means to my family and many others. Thank You.

One word: Spectacular!! My wife is originally from Cadiz and we were back in town for her 50th High School Class reunion. We were graciously welcomed by Linda and given a personal tour of the Inn. My wife was able to share stories of when she was a little girl driving past the old Canton Hotel building in her father’s old Jeep to the edge of the river to hunt for arrowheads. At that time, there were still pylon remnants from the original steamboat pier. Enough history---if you are in the area, staying at The Red Brick Inn is a must! Our entire three (3) night stay was just absolutely wonderful. The Inn has been expertly restored and the antique furniture is stunning. We were spoiled each morning with a scratch made breakfast complete with fine China and all the associated table settings. We were not able to meet Allison however had a wonderful time with Linda and Joey. Thank you for a truly memorable and fantastic experience!!!!

If you love old buildings this is certainly the place to be. Almost everyone was friendly and nice. Except the older lady that was a host make me feel embarrassed about using a CPAP and then wanted to argue with me about it. That was odd but the owners are extremely nice and the view from The Veranda early morning while drinking coffee is one of the best places one could be in the world.

What a gem this place is! I stayed there for 4 nights this past week and the owners Joey and Allison have really created something special with the Red Brick Inn. It’s an incredibly historic location that was instrumental in putting Cadiz on the map. The rooms are quaint and very clean, the breakfast served each morning is freshly made and delicious and the attention to detail and guest needs is top-notch. Joey and Allison literally treated me like a family member with their genuine hospitality and generosity.

They have a cozy tavern downstairs where nice locals hang out and a garden bar upstairs where they serve food and/or have live music on select nights. Bars are open Thursday through Saturday — Thursday is pizza night where the owners personally cook amazing pizzas w/ a heck of a good sourdough crust topped with fresh local Amish cheese.

I can’t recommend this place...
