My husband and I loved our stay at Highfield Manor Bed & Breakfast! We were greeted by Christina (the owner) upon our arrival. She was warm and welcoming at the very first step in the door. The house was so cozy and decorated for the Christmas holiday, it made me want to have a cup of hot chocolate and cozy up by the fire. She gave us a tour of the amenities ( coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bottled water are always available) there was fresh homemade snickerdoodle cookies, microwave popcorn if we wanted. She was very accommodating and a lovely soul. Our room was absolutely stunning and had a cute little deck to enjoy the views of the property. We will have to come back when the weather is warmer to sit out and star gaze at night. The room was decorated beautifully! It was absolutely lovely! We were blown away by the little touch of a local bag of tasty gourmet popcorn with a little note to wish us a Happy Anniversary! Such a thoughtful and delicious gift! Our breakfasts were top notch of eggs Benedict, fresh fruit, brown buttered and brown sugar bacon ( oh yes, you read that right) to die for, homemade pumpkin cream cheese muffin, hashbrown, coffee, oj was the first day! The second day we enjoyed French toast with a twist, sausage, fresh fruit, banana chocolate chip Muffins, oj, coffee. She is a fabulous cook!! We loved talking to her and meeting her husband Clarence. Such a lovely couple and an amazing BNB! We didnt want to leave, but will be back forsure someday! Highly recommend Highfield Manor Bed...

We just met family for a visit to Shipshewana, and chose to stay at Highfield Manor. We were so glad we did. Christina was a wonderful hostess; she gave us a friendly welcome at the door and gave us a tour of the house when we got there. Her home is beautifully done, clean, attractive and inviting for a relaxed visit or a personal break. There are areas to enjoy in the house as well as on the porch and in the beautiful back yard. We enjoyed walks down the lane. It is a restful spot, listening to the birds and to horses’ hooves clip-clopping down the road. Her breakfasts were home-prepared and very enjoyable, with good coffee, to boot! There was 24-hour access to a well-stocked Keurig station, as well as a hot and cold water station and tasty snacks. The home was kept pleasantly cool, with fans in the rooms if needed. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay in...

This beautiful bed and breakfast in a fully remodeled formerly Amish farmhouse is nestled in the heart of Amish farmland. Each suite is beautifully designed, and the bathrooms all have high-end modern fixtures. There are several comfortable shared sitting areas in the house, and a large beautifully landscaped property to explore, including a water feature, fire pit, and gardens. The owner, Christina, is a wonderful host; in addition to delicious freshly cooked full breakfasts, she provided lots of information about nearby shops, restaurants, and the local community. After full days of shopping in nearby Shipshewana and visiting local historic sites, we enjoyed quiet evenings on the wraparound porch with a bottle of wine. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Our stay here was amazing. Christina was a gracious hostess and served up some amazing home cooked breakfast. The home is beautiful and serene. The area is quite beautiful, right in the middle of Amish country. I brought my girlfriend here, for the first time, for her birthday. It was in the back yard, near the garden where I asked her to marry me. It was the perfect place and time and I couldn’t have envisioned a better place to ask the love of my life to be mine. We will cherish our memories of this place and the hospitality we received. We will definitely return year after year as long as this place is still open. Highly recommended.
