I recently stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton LaGrange for a business trip, and while it was adequate for my needs, I wouldn’t recommend it for a family trip due to its isolated location unless you are willing to drive quite far. Our attempt to check in at 2 pm was denied (we were only picking up the keys) as we were told check-in is strictly at 3 pm, which is understandable. When we finally checked in after our business, the room was not fully ready. My coworker’s room lacked basic utensils like a fork, requiring a trip to the front desk. My room had a broken sliding bathroom door that was stuck wide open. So I had to leave my bathroom door wide open during my stay. Additionally, there was a discrepancy between the cleaning schedule provided by the front desk and the actual service, resulting in missed essentials like trash bags and detergent spilt on the kitchen floor. And the dish washing sponge was never refilled after the cleaning service removed the item which was bearable since there was a dish washer in each room. The bathroom outlet didn’t work, which was a minor issue. Despite these issues, I didn’t ask for another room as I was there solely for business and didn’t mind the inconveniences too much. On a positive note, the breakfast was great, and the barbecue area was a nice touch. Overall, it’s an okay place for a business stay, but I wouldn’t choose it for a family trip given the issues and its location.

We came to stay here for our evening to Callaway Gardens for the lights. It wasn't a far drive to the gardens at all, about 30 minutes. The lobby of the hotel was nicely decorated! This is a dog friendly hotel. We didn't have a dog, but I did see two other guests with large sized dogs. This hotel is right off the highway and down the street from McDonald's, Wendy's, and gas stations and next door to Waffle House. We got a king bed. There was a lot of noise in the room. There was a loud clicking noise that went in for awhile and a weird buzzing sound. Shout out to the team! My boyfriend left his apple tv in the room, and they called us after we had gotten on the road so we could go back for it since we weren't too far away. Grateful for that!

Nothing special about the surrounding area except its proximity to Great Wolf Lodge, an Interstate exit and some distance from a large lake. For this reason, I can't grant the fifth star that one would see for a hotel in a perfect location, but, this is a top notch suite property that I would not hesitate to suggest for anyone who has to be in the area. The staff are pleasant, the on-site breakfast has good variety, and the rooms seem to lack nothing and are well laid out and clean. There is a moderate sized fitness center. There is a fine pool area (no hot tub) and a small retention pond for a view. It's also nice that there is a fire pit out front which the staff lights nightly, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Recommended.

My family and friends stayed at the location in October the hotel and Katrina we amazing! But Paul the manager is a liar. I spoke with him on 10/30 to let him know that a representative of the hotel brought his dogs in to eat breakfast with him and then he let the dog go so that he could roam free in the lobby while we ate breakfast! I also provided that the lady, her boyfriend and granddaughter were in the restroom together. He told me that if I wanted compensation speak with the company that I booked through! So I did and he sent an email to the company telling them that I never complained to them so they declined compensation. I then called their corporate office and spoke to Kristina who was amazing! She advised that the President would call me in regards to the matter. It will be a week tomorrow and I have called twice! Now I know why Paul does what he does.. Management is horrible but the hotel staff and the hotel is amazing. I have also left several messages for Kyle Crawford, who told Milly the receptions on 11/20/23 at 4:30 he would call me in 30 minutes its now 7:14pm. I'm filing a complaint with the better business.. No that is now what we agreed upon Paul and you as well as I know that. You told EXPEDIA that I never filed a complaint. That was truly a lie, because now you are saying we had a pleasant conversation. Refund!!

In response to the owner, I have reached out several times to your office to be told that you are not taking my calls. Don't get me started on calling your corporate office, they take no calls. To fact its sad that your in a small area where employees want to help but are afraid of loosing their jobs.. I know why you handle situations the way you do, because your corporate office does business...

We spent one night at the Home2Suites in Lagrange, after a stay at the Great Wolf Lodge (accross the street) and before heading back to Atlanta. Overall, we really liked out stay at Home2... even though it does suffer from the 2 common flaws which are typical of all Home2s I have been to.||What I liked: You know what you are going to get at a Home2Suites if you have stayed at one before. The room layout and sizing is pretty standard across all properties. Room and bathroom are fairly spacious, there is a nice but small kitchen area - furnished with what you need to cook/serve a meal. The TV had many channels, the wifi was reliable, AC worked fine to keep the room at a comfortable temperature when it was close to 100F outside, water temperature and pressure was adequate for the shower... Ample parking space, two BBQs on-site... friendly staff, ample parking space and conveniently located near I-85... but not right next to it. Food wise, there is a Waffle House in the parking lot, there are a few other fast food options nearby and "city centre" is a short 10 minutes ride away. The mobile key system worked flawlessly throughout the stay||What to watch for/could be improved: There are two things at Home2Suites that are problematic at all their properties. 1. Their so-called queen sized beds are actually double beds - and they have to be amongst the stiffest. most uncomfortable beds of a major hotel chain. 2. The complimentary breakfast is probably the weakest when compared to other Hilton Honors properties... ||Now, the 2 downsides are not enough for me to take down the rating for this property. It is relatively new and in great shape, I like the location and it is relatively good value. As such, I do highly...

Hello, I stayed at home2suites in LaGrange this past weekend with my family. What originally seemed would be a very pleasant hotel stay, turned out not to be as expected. Let me start off by saying everyone in the staff we encountered was very helpful, however that does not excuse our experience. The hotel only cleans rooms every two nights which is fine, and we had a 3 night stay. After making it clear we’d like our room cleaned and being told we were on the list for the day, no one cleaned our room. I was traveling with my family, including a toddler, so we absolutely wanted dirty diapers removed as the trash cans in the rooms did not have lids that would close. Not actually cleaning the rooms regularly explained something else we noticed during our visit, bugs. We saw several, including a roach. The hotel stay said they would let the manager know and I asked about an exterminator but no manager reached out and no exterminator came. When I first arrived I didn’t understand why there was trash all in the hallways, but frustrated guests like myself likely put the trash out as their rooms weren’t being cleaned and that has attracted bugs which the property is not treating.

The breakfast is okay, but left much to be desired.

The room was clean on the surface, besides the bugs, but the furniture and carpet clearly needed a shampoo, and there was a mildew smell if the air conditioner wasn’t on.

The air conditioner is also units attached to the wall in the living room and bedroom and sound very loud.

Mattress was clearly old and a little soft for my liking.

Overall, the hotel didn’t ruin our visit, but I think I’d stay somewhere else if...
