FireSong Ranch — Hotel in Lakeway

FireSong Ranch was incredible! 2021 forced us to cancel both my husband's bday and our 20th anniversary trips due to snow. At that time I decided to booked the NDotto Glamping Tent for 2022 praying we wouldn't get snowed in again. God was kind and our stay was AMAZING! The tent was secluded and private, with gorgeous views, meticulously maintained and the owners really thought of everything! In addition to all the things you would find in a typical hotel room they had snacks, multiple flavors of coffee for the both the Nespresso and Keurig machines and every kitchen necessity you could think of. I had brought a few things to make breakfast in the mornings so we could enjoy relaxing before we headed out for the day. The only things I didn't bring were cream for our coffee and egg's, I thought I could get them at convenient stores on our way home from dinner the first night. Guess what, as soon as opened the fridge there were fresh eggs, sweet cream, butter, seltzer and filtered water. It did rain a bit and was very cold outside the nights we were there but the central heating and gas fireplace worked great. We didn't take advantage of the outdoor shower or fireplace but did use the hot tub and indoor bath. Never had any water or power issues, which I was sort of expecting in a remote location and "tent". In addition to the bath amenities, including robes, they had an outdoor towel warmer so your towels we extra warm when you got out of the hot tub. I could go on and on but you just have to experience it to really appreciate all the owner have put into this place. Our last morning we got ready and packed everything up by 10am. We didn't want to leave so we spent the last hour before check-out on the back deck enjoying our coffee, the sunshine, peace and quiet, surrounded by the views of tree tops and rolling hills. Very nice 1 bedroom house that backs up to a creek at the bottom of a valley. The house comes stocked with everything you need to cook with, full size fridge, stove, pots and pans, spices etc. The bedroom has a large closet and a nice bathroom. The one complaint is very minor, we wished there was a little more space in the bathroom for toothbrushes and that kind if thing. The shower had realy good water pressure and we really appreciated that they had little things like cue-tips, razors, shampoo etc in the bathroom. The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed and has double doors that open up to the deck.

The house was very clean! The shinning feature is the back deck which overlooks the creek... you can sit back there and relax or enjoy some food by the fireplace. It is very hot in TX in June when we came but the humidity is relatively low and there was a nice breeze on the back deck so we were still able to enjoy it. We sat out there and enjoyed the stars at night.

The owners communicated with us through text and were responsive when we messaged them. They had a sweet welcome message customized for our stay when we arrived.

We were extremely happy with our choice to stay there... it is the perfect house for a couple to stay at and wasn't overly priced like many of the other vacation rentals. We would definitely stay there again if we decide to come back...

My husband and I have stayed at 5-star resorts all over the world and this was by far, the greatest place we have been been to! We had our own private sanctuary with a magnificent view, one touch nespresso machine, a fridge stocked with farm eggs, fresh cream and topo Chico. We had snacks, toiletries, a touchless garbage can, remote for lights and fan, and full house sound system. Every need will be met, without having to ask! Dawn has thought of every detail- from the incredible sheets and mattress, to the magnificent view! We layed in the hammock and watched the hummingbirds, had a carpet of bluebonnets greet us on the drive in, cooked a gourmet meal in her kitchen, cuddled by the fire pit, caught the view from the hot tub, enjoyed a cheese plate on the deck, enjoyed the sounds of the tent in the wind with the lights dimmed.
