Extremely crowded on a Saturday night. As others have indicated, there are five established tent sites, a composting privy, and a reliable water source at Unknown Pond nearby. Though only five sites exist, there are several flattened areas which are unofficially utilized as overflow, including limitless trees for those who are only looking to set up a hammock. York Pond Rd access is gated before 7:30AM and after 4PM. This will add a few miles of walking depending on what time you arrive. Mount Cabot, the Bulge, and the Horn are all within 2.7 miles for those who are trying to tackle the NH 48, 52 With A View, and NH or NE...

Did 2 nights there. Tent sites are well laid out, flat and clear of roots and rocks. Bear box is centrally located near the common fire pit and the outhouse is decent.
