Prairie Oaks Inn — Hotel in Langdon

Michael and Janis were very welcoming and kind. They spent time chatting with us throughout our stay, and even showed us around the farm. They also were sure to give us our space and made sure we knew that we could make ourselves at home. Breakfast was good! We had a great time exploring the farm and visiting all the animals (it's like a petting zoo!). Then we fished in the pond, and my husband lost track of how many bass he caught. The quiet atmosphere was perfect for our anniversary weekend getaway. It was a great place to just relax and just spend quality time together. We highly recommend it! I found this extraordinarily lovely place on the Kansas Tourism website, and it was a great find! Janis and Mike were so welcoming, and their B and B is unique. The house is beautiful and our room was very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious! The location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit in Southwestern and South Central Kansas. We enjoyed visiting the fine menagerie on the property—llamas, goats, mini horses, etc. It is definitely a place to take kids or a family...

Michael and Janis, thank you for making my trip around Kansas so special. I'm not sure I've ever met anyone as charming, friendly, and endearing as the both of you. I can't say enough great things about Prairie Oaks Inn and would recommend it to anyone looking to get off the beaten path and rediscover themselves or eachother.
