Fish Lake Campground — Hotel in Leavenworth

06/30/2023: Spent the holiday weekend at Fish Lake Campground. Two of us stayed for 4 nights and didn't have any neighbors. Site is located about 11 miles past Salmon La Sac Campground on Forest Road 4330. All gravel and you will need to cross some water.

Great escape! No cell service at all. Should use 4wd/AWD vehicle once on forest service road. While you can keep cars at your site, you are still roughing it. Bathrooms are a drive away. You can float and fish in lake/river. There is also a cliff jumping spot that is very cool. We did a father/son trip and created great memories. Lastly, stars, holy cow, mind blowing STARS. Just came back from this area late June 2020. Absolutely beautiful. The flowers, trees, river / lake and mountains with snow on them were incredible. Could see amazing mountain peaks in the distance to the north.
