Mattress Firm Lees Summit — Hotel in Lee's Summit

We bought a mattress (tempurpedic) and the base as well. We were promised a couple of items as free. We never received them. I made several calls but to no avail. Finally after disputing the charge on my credit card, I got a call from the manager/sales person that helped us purchased the mattress set. He seemed upset at me and acted like he had no idea what we were talking about. Though I had email proof as well as receipts. They had double charged my account for 2 head board deliveries as well as never gave us the sheets they promised. After going over this with the manager he suddenly remembered this and decided to make it right. He said he'd give me a credit for $300something for the sheets and $367 for the second delivery charge. I've seen the sheet charge credited but not the delivery charge. I am a little wary. He said it would take 4-6 wks. Why I have no idea. Believe me I will be keeping my eye on my statements. Left a bad taste in my mouth. PLEASE get everything in writing or you could end up playing these silly games too. It's time-consuming and aggravating. I hope you have better...

My husband and I have looked at several mattresses. We went to the Mattress Firm closest to our house and did not have favorable results, we decided to try the Lee's Summit store. We first met Neil there. We did not purchase the bed that night, we continued to look around however found ourselves returning to that store because of the great service we received and the comfort of the bed. We went in right before July 4th sale and we still did not purchase the bed we left an Neil then emailed us to follow up on our visit and see if he could help in any way. Just the extra little things that he did helped the process be much smoother. I have never been taken care of as much as Neil at Mattress Firm did for us. Wonderful customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure we were able to purchase the exact mattress we wanted. Neil just left our home after helping with delivery and set up of our new Beauty Rest Black Ice mattresses. He was kind enough to help with the re-packaging of mattresses we are returning to a competitor via UPS. Service has been Stellar! I was unable physically to even assist him and he was very kind and thoughtful, pleasantly insisting he could do it. And he did! We shopped several places and appreciated that Neil educated himself about the various products, knowing strengths and weaknesses for each. We were gun shy about investing again in a top line mattress after 3 months of failure to get comfortable on those we are returning.
