If I could leave more than five stars, I would. The Silverlake Inn was life-changing, quite literally. The hospitality is out of this world, John and Kathy Are amongst the nicest people to walk this earth. From the bottom of my heart, I just wanna say thank you so much for everything you guys did for me and my wife on our honeymoon.
I remember pulling in about 1 AM and it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, We have the windows down in my truck. It’s a nice breeze, pulling across the lake. And the view was immaculate. You could nearly see the star is reflecting off the crystal clear spring fed lake with the lights on the dark shimmering in the ripples. And right in front of you as you pull down the road Stand the beautiful, two story, log cabin, secluded from surroundings. It was truly heaven
As morning Broke over the horizon and casted the true beauty of the lake wity the mountains in the distance you could look back and see just how beautiful of a place You have come to visit.
The breakfast is that of a Michelin star restaurant. Was every meal made with love and care And miss passion for every guest that comes through those doors.
No matter what time of year it is, the Silverlake cannot accommodate for any activity you are up for, From snow shoes to kayaking and fishing. You can enjoy the nature that surrounds you.
10 of out 10. And is a true must no matter the family size. Must visit the silver lake...
Read moreThis place is simply beautiful! Kathie and John are lovely and extremely accommodating. The homemade breakfast is delicious and is made daily. The choices are varied offering homemade muffins, waffles, or pancakes, eggs-made to order, sausage, pancakes, bacon, fresh berries yogurt and granola, and juice. A coffee/hot chocolate bar keurig is set up in a common area for those of us who love coffee! The property is clean and very homey. The rooms are on the second floor with nice wide staircases. There are several common areas to play games, read etc. Their 2 dogs, Odie and Shera (unsure of the correct spelling) are beautiful and sweet. They barked on arrival, not knowing us, but immediately warmed up to us and were quite friendly! They offer canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, campfires and natural viewing of fireflys along the property edge. There is a tranquil babbling brook small waterfall where the lake runs into the stream. The lake is a great for spot for fishing! We just got home and have already booked our...
