Ridgecrest — Hotel in Leesburg

I found this resort on line in May of this year and went in to the office. Attendant was very helpful, respectful and had great personality. I paid $150 for reservation to be moving in the park on 10/01. Everything went fine. I even went back to look around to change my lot and all was well. Every few weeks I will call to make sure my reservation was still ok because I was told my balance to come in on 10/01 will be the difference of $400 plus dollars because i was month to month . I have phone conversations with them repeating this figure until the 09 /30 when when I got to the office to pay so I can move in next day. Which is today 10/01. The attendant acted like she never even knew me or spoke to me before because they wanted me to pay $3000 dollars to get into the park after I waited 4 months had my RV pack and ready to check out of my the park I am still in. I was so confused because their. Whole attitude was different, even said that figure was never ever mention. Was so angry and aggressive, so totally different to the person I was dealing with before. They said it's new management and the wanted $3000 or be refunded. I was refunded and is now having to look for another park because my park can extend for one more month. Two years ago my husband and I planned to visit Florida for three months to escape our Michigan winter. In 2021, while camping near home, we met a couple who told us that they had spent three winters at Ridgecrest Resort Community and they were planning to stay again in 2022. On their recommendation, we reserved three months to stay in our motorhome. When we stayed last winter we did check out other resorts and campgrounds but none of them measured up in comparison to Ridgecrest for the property, amenities or value. Stacey and Brittany, the management, are professional and work at addressing any issues brought to them. Many improvements have been made in the resort property since last year and more are in the works. Also, Stacey is a resident who joins in the fun and activities when she can but is all business when necessary. We have enjoyed getting to know many of the full-time residents, part-time residents and other RV visitors like us. There are many activities arranged for you to be involved if you would like, in and out of the clubhouse or you can just relax in the pool or at your own site. I just want to wish all my friends and neighbors here in Ridgecrest Resort a very Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 we all have to be VERY THANKFUL for our lives we live😊 and I would like to share my deepest gratitude to our hard working crew here at Ridgecrest Resort,, and Especially our Fantastic MGR Stacey Aldridge for doing an outstanding job here at our community in more ways than one!! Stacey is the kind of person that is not afraid to get her hands dirty and always works very hard to make our Resort looking the best it has ever looked!! Some people really appreciate what she does… and if there are people in our resort that have nothing good to say about her and all the crew,, I strongly encourage them to move on!!!
