Lehigh Resort Club is an affordable, family friendly, fun, unique, and relaxing resort. The on-site amenities kept my whole family happy. Our one-bedroom suite was spacious & clean with everything we needed and provided a comfortable environment for us to unwind and rest. There were a ton of clean towels, wash cloths & extra bedding for us to use and more than enough room to comfortably fit all 4 of us while still having privacy. I loved the thoughtful touches, like the cute little basket filled with wash cloths & complimentary dish soap and laundry soap. We ended up extending our stay further because we never wanted to leave. I particularly loved how calm and at-ease I felt here. There's nothing like a dip in the pool, followed by time to lay back in a comfy beach chair, close my eyes, and breathe. My mother & father, who are constantly stressed, seemed so happy, which brought me never-ending joy. Feeling carefree in a world of chaos was life-changing. My favorite things were the porch swing (across from the office, near the sidewalk) and the fire pit. Me and my family made S'mores on our last night there.

Β Β Β Read moreThis is an outdated/rundown resort. They are trying to lure older people here with discount golf on a burned out golf course. The rooms are something straight out of the 1970s. We travel a lot (my wife is a travel nurse). We stay at a lot of Hilton and Marriotts. We also use RCI to stay in Resorts across the country.
Lynn Trueblood (Front desk receptionist) notified my wife that they kept our $150 'security deposit' secondary to 'dirty towels/linens/dog hair.' "Dear guest Your deposit was kept for the extra cleaning needed by housekeeping. I will also send you pictures of the ruined towels in the room." Lynn Trueblood Lehigh Resort Club Front Desk Supervisor"
The towels were not ruined and any Resort could easily wash normal use of towels. The minimal dog hair is normal cleaning at any Resort/Hotel/Motel. Lynn then had the audacity to tell me that no resort would put up with the condition we left the room in. She then sent me pictures of dirty towels and dog hair claiming it took the housekeeper 'hours' to clean the room (pictures attached). This is the most absurd thing that I've ever come across. She wrote this via email "I also stay at a lot of resorts and none of them would put up with the condition that you left our room in." Like I stated above, this place is obviously desperate for money. It is sad that they have to stoop that low as to keep people's security deposit and try to make guests feel like they left the room in a filthy condition when they did not. Not to mention that their housekeepers do not speak English and are very rude. Something ICE needs to look into π€ I've been traveling full time with my wife for the last 3 years with my service dog and not one place has ever complained about our cleanliness or attempted to keep our security deposit. We are disputing the charges and we will escalate the situation. Very disappointing. We will obviously never be staying here again.
Attached are the photos that she sent me via email on 'destroyed towels & dog hair that took hours to clean.' This kind of stuff needs to go to upper management to have people like this reviewed and reprimanded. I think I'll be the guy to make sure...
Β Β Β Read moreFantastic. Spent 5 days there in January of 2023 in room 337. Likely the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Could not find anything dirty. After booking this place someone posted that they had bedbugs which freaked me out so when I got there I disassembled the bed and inspected with a flashlight. No signs of bed bugs. Mattress looked brand new. I then tried to find things wrong or dirty and looked everywhere. No dirt on top of refrigerator. Nothing on top of cabinets. nothing behind the bed. Take a look at the photos. Anyone stay at an extended stay and use the kitchen cabinets which have a sticky residue due to people handling the cabinets. Not even close here. They felt brand new. Since the 80s called and asked for their decor back, I must assume they clean like crazy or they refinished the cabinets which they may have as they had put felt on all the doors (Before soft close cabinet hinges). Would not care if it was victorian decor as long as it was spotless like this.
Only thing I have an issue with is the murphy bed is too close to the window so hard to get in and out of. The toilet seat needs to be replaced as they have cleaned is so much it has eroded the finish down to the wood in one spot.
The epoxy coating on the exterior deck was perfect. Well Maintained.
The last bastion of civilized living. No pets. no smoking. The rules say if they catch either they kick you out.
Down side is that these are time share type units and not a hotel. You need to bring what you need. We had 4 pillows and they would not give us any additional. But they did provide coffee and toilet paper and will pick up your dirty towels...
