Hope Inn — Hotel in Lenox

You don't want to stay... Unless you have nowhere else to go! The electric outlets only work if you unplug everything besides what you are using. You will have to call someone to do the breaker box... the office is always closed and when they are open, 2 young teenagers running it( there children). The mother stays watching the video and believe me if u have to wash clothes she will get on the entercome and let you know you have to be in your rooms at 8 pm . There is a no (pet) policy. She did allow me to keep my dog only because i told her I booked online. I had to pay 25 extra. The heater is a plug-in heater, and if that one is messed up.. go by your own...trust me. The air conditioner is not in the built-in the whole like you normally would see it, it has a air condition (windows unit) placed in it but to small to cover the whole. Also, the sheets are not clean. There was a smoke pipe under the bed with a blanket wadded up and one old towel under the bathroom sink. The fridge had gone out with $120.00 worth of food. She told us not her problem. When we left, I left a note saying , "Not mine either." Also, I was told by the owner that if you pay any way beside cash, she needs your ID . This hotel really sucked and we never even made it to a room. We had to travel after Hurricane Michael to find somewhere to stay. We called ahead and this was the closest one with any vacancy. We tried to confirm our reservation over the phone (we were traveling in the evening), but they assured us even after hearing our travel time there were plenty of rooms and this would not be a problem. After we got there we we're told there were no rooms,but if we waited they could clean rooms for us to use. We waited another hour in the parking lot and a room never became available. Their system for getting a room is horrible and who wants to continue to search all over again (which we had to another hour away) with four tired adults and four small children. From the look of the parking lot and exterior we probably wouldn't have chosen tis place at all if the circumstances had...

I have not one bad thing to say about Hope Inn. They have absolutely 💯 unbeatable rates. Amazing clean rooms with comfortable beds. Great free wifi. Hospitality on point. Air conditioning and heat available. TV with great cable. Hot water isn't a problem and water pressure. Let's leave a little of the original here for you to read. She had people do this just to stay there if it's an extended stay for a discount also she had the craziest mood swings one day she would be laughing and flirting with my husband Matt then the next she is cussing because he had to go out to our car at 2am for something the kids wanted and that she had a curfew like rule. I'm not sure what was wrong with this woman but she also has a son that works there and is very sweet but you can tell the child is miserable.
