Issues aren’t being handled at this park. It has more than a few feral cats. A fenced in dog area is being used by someone who puts their 2 & 3yr old without any supervision for hours. Other issues have been presented and nothing has been done. When asked about these issues with the front desk they acted concerned and said issues would be addressed. Now front desk is rude and ignores the situation. Owner seriously needs to address this park.

We stayed here for a year. It was quite and we had no issues. We had plenty of space between us and the next RV. Most people here are long term. They did a great job while we where there to clean up the few people causing issuing or not keep their sites clean. The changes made it an even better place to stay. If we are ever back in the area we will stay again. It was an easy drive to town and to the base.

Take It Easy Campground name says exactly how it is. Nice, quiet, clean Campground tuck away in St Mary's County that's a fantastic place to enjoy historic scenery. Adjacent to Lexington Park and 20 min away from Point Lookout, you get your money's worth here. I loved it, stayed 4 nights/5 days.

Interesting Campground, owners and management were very helpful and supportive. We came with a large group, Maryland Camping Club, with about 35 or more RVs and families. A lot of open areas and wooded areas for group settings, great places to walk and explore. Huge open fields to let dogs run (away from the campsites), fishing pond, lake. Overall the camp gets very quiet at 9 or 10 PM (WISH the pool was open at night, no desire to swim in the August Sun and Heat), our group was busy all day with kid and adult activities and ran until 3 or 4 AM. No complaints from the seasonal sites as there was quite a bit of seperation due to the open fields and wooded areas between us.||Location is very good. Basically 15 minutes from anything you might need or want. Piney Point, Pax River, nice restaurants, charter fishing, boat tours Museums.. a little further is Webster Field, Point Lookout. Boat tours to Smith Island. ||Overall a pleasant surprise, nicer than we expected. We really enjoyed our weekend even with the heat and humidity.. thank God for the mature trees and all the shade!||I would rate this 5 stars, but the campground does need updating, but it seems they are working on it. What is there seems to be well maintained, and kept up.||I read some other reviews and I'm not sure what some people's expectations are for a campground. Or group was very happy and I believe...

Stayed there in our 5th-wheel from March thru July in 2017. All pads are gravel. They advertise some sites as "concrete", but that concrete is only a patio area next to the trailer pads. Although the park is filled mostly by long-term itinerant construction workers along with what appeared to be many permanent local residents living in trailers, the office makes no accommodation for "c/o" US mail. Additionally, during my stay they quit accepting packages for campers from UPS/FedEx, etc. The bulk of the trailer sites are closely packed with little privacy and poor ambiance.

This is a very large park and during our stay close to capacity, however the amount of expenditure on facilities maintenance, guest services & capital improvement seemed disproportionately low relative to the apparent revenue-flow of the business.

On the plus side, the campground is pet-friendly and much of the facility (away from the trailer pads) is park-like. The swimming pool is nice and well-maintained.

It worked out OK economically for us as transition living in-between home closings, but it definitely isn't a...

Of all the campgrounds I have visited in the state of Maryland this particular one is by far the very best of them all, the place is clean, the up keep is amazing, everyone is friendly I honestly am finding it very hard to say anything negative at all very nice place to visit temporarily or for long term I highly recommend this particular place if you want to go to a campground in the state of Maryland. I have visited just about everyone in the state and this one is by far the very best,,go to the website and check them out you will not be disappointed and everything that is on there is true in fact the website does not do it any justice meaning it does not represent just how nice the place is you just have to see it for yourself it's beautiful I mean they have places to fish they have a inground swimming pool is very nice size very clean I can go on and on about how nice it is so go see it for...
