This was over a year ago, so maybe things were different for 2023, but this place left me with an odd taste in my mouth. The whole experience was very uneven. A group of us stayed in the on-course house and I can't say enough good things about that place. Spacious old school house with game room, etc. Incredibly convenient being right on the course.
Things were weird from the beginning though when they would not let me pay for my golf/lodging with a gift card that I'd been given as a gift. Didn't seem to make any sense, but whatever, I'd be needing it for food, drinks, etc. anyway. Well, every time I tried to use it at the bar, restaurant, etc., it was a huge issue. They would need to call someone and go through a huge rigamarole to get this card to work to the point that it made me feel bad for wanting to use my card-which would have been not an issue at all if they would have just let it go towards my room/golf. It really made no sense.
I got the feeling that the place is not very organized and that there are various parties at work that are not all on the same page. I also felt overwhelmingly that since we were a group of out of town guys renting the house, they automatically assumed that we were going to trash the place and cause problems. I felt tolerated more than welcomed. They didn't seem to want us to be there, much less have a good time. It's little things-like I understand if you want to be sticklers about bringing your own beer on the course (they sticker every can to make sure it's legit). Most courses have a gentleman's agreement that you buy some, you bring some. But if you want to be a stickler, at least make it easy to buy from the clubhouse!
It also seemed that they had no idea of who was where on the course. 12 of us where scheduled to play 36 and we needed to eat lunch at the pub in between rounds pretty quick to make out time. They were totally unprepared to handle us-even though they knew when we'd be off the course and when we needed to get back on.
The courses themselves were great designs-but even the fairways were pretty thick-making it hard to find the balls but I get it-course maintenance is tough. I never got any perch-it got devoured by another group immediately. Point is-the place has great potential. but if you're going to be in the hospitality business-you need to be hospitable. Guests should feel welcome, not treated with passive-aggressive surliness. Hope things...

We recently held a celebration of life for my dad at Emilio’s Prime, and I can’t begin to describe how grateful we are for the incredible experience they created for our family and friends. From the moment we arrived, it was handled with care, grace, and exceptional attention to every detail.
The venue itself was absolutely stunning—elegant, warm, and immaculately clean. It provided the perfect setting for both reflection and celebration.
The service was extraordinary. The team at Emilio’s went above and beyond in every way. Their compassion, professionalism, and attentiveness made the day feel seamless and stress-free. They were always one step ahead, anticipating needs we hadn’t even thought of, and ensuring every guest felt welcomed and cared for.
And the food—awesome. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
The guests commented on how beautiful and clean the rooms were - one was even given an extremely late check out to attend the event.
Hosting my dad’s celebration of life at Emilio’s Prime was one of the best decisions we could have made. They turned a difficult moment into a day of love, remembrance, and fun. We will never forget the kindness and excellence they showed us. I wholeheartedly recommend Emilio’s Prime for anyone looking to honor a loved one with dignity, beauty, and care.

The house is completely acceptable, but definitely dated. It's a pretty cool setup to just walk across the street and get your cart that still has the clubs on them from the day before. There's an in-ground pool as well, but it was too cool when we were there to use it.||||On to the golf - the north course is definitely harder than the south, though neither are easy. The rough on both courses is extremely thick - lots of clover and a mix of grass types that the ball sits down in. We spent lots of time searching for balls that we'd seen stop in clear mowed areas just a few yards off the fairway. That was frustrating and made the rounds take longer than they should have. The greens on the south course had some definite fungal issues.||||Also, be wary of bringing booze onto the course. They go so far as to put purple labels on all the beer cans and are hawks for people sneaking.||||There's a restaurant there, too. We booked two buffet dinners. The fried fish is excellent. The rest of the food was pretty meh.||||So if you're a group that wants to party at night and you're not searching for pristine course conditions, this might be right up your alley.||||We'd probably come back again if the course conditions...
