Missing Hotel — Hotel in Liberty Hill

My boyfriend booked the Rame to celebrate my birthday and catch the Perseid Meteor shower. This was such an amazing stay, we stayed until exactly checkout. The location was very private, especially since no one was in the villa next to us. The dip pool was pretty warm when we got there at 4pm but by the morning it had cooled off a bit.

The amenities were great, we took an evening walk and loved trying out the driving range! Tried to meet Elvis and presley in the morning but they did not respond to our bell ringing - maybe they sleep in. We barely saw a soul during our one night stay, just the owner driving around arrivals in a side by side. However, MJ the cat was there immediately to check in on us as soon as we arrived. She spent a good majority of the time there with us. I'm not a cat person but MJ is clearly professional.

We loved watching the night sky, seeing the meteor shower and star gazing on the deck. Fun fact, you can turn off the outdoor string lights from an inside switch. Overall, the stay was very relaxing, peaceful, and perfect for building a better bond with your person.

Some suggestions for people coming: -Bring a record as there is a record player and really added to the experience -Charcuterie tasted extra good here! (Grabbed a bunch of cheeses and meats from trader joes, MJ loves Manchego) and bring knives -If you want to drink from anything but Mugs, bring your own glasses. But probably plastic to protect MJs home -eye mask if you're sensitive to light in the morning, there are no blinds so you're waking up with the world here -start remembering that you cannot flush toilet paper here -BUG SPRAY

Me and my children came here to enjoy a quick get away trip to end our summer and to kick off a new school year…and the missing hotel provided just that for us! We stayed in the beautiful Zephyr villa it was the perfect size for the three of us to have a home away from home giving us everything we might of needed! The area was perfect and the land provided just what we were looking for but with a splash of “razzle dazzle”! The fun hiking trails with hidden swings, chairs, games and some amazing sight seeing were more than what we asked for! At one point, we needed some assistance with the mini dip pool and I texted the provided number and Tom responded right away and did not hesitate to come right out to help service us. He also gave us some really cool info about the property and made sure we knew about some worthy trails to check out and to even keep an eye out for Elvis & Presley’s new baby calf, which we did get a glimpse of at sun down our last night there! MJ, the property’s cat welcomed us almost immediately when we got there, she was a delightful friend keeping us company pretty much the whole time we were there!

Now, I am a nature girl teaching her kids the way of Mother Earth and they are learning the respect of all her creatures placed here, but I must say..we got a bit disappointed our last night outside at our villa because we got pushed inside pretty quickly after sun down because the outside got swarmed by daddy long legs! I did let the missing team know about this at check out and they responded promptly with an apology and assured me they do treat all their villas appropriately and will certainly address this issue.

My husband and I booked the Zephry for our week long stay. After reading lot of reviews and contacting the owner several times with questions before booking out trip, we were so excited only to be disappointed. This is the most luxurious and priciest shelter but definitely not worth the money we paid. We had a good stay although the room was not anything great, definitely not worth the money.

Things we enjoyed: 1.Peaceful relaxing getaway, a great disconnect for us. 2. The property is quiet and secluded but close enough if you wanted to run into town for a nice meal. 3. The outside swings, the outside tub and hot tub wonderful. 4. Be able to wake up in the tree tops, so beautiful and relaxing. 5. MJ the cat was an extra bonus for us, since we are cat people.

Things we didn't enjoy: 1. The outside shower didn't seem to have hot water. We ran the water for sometime and it never got hot. At best it ran a trickle of water from the hot side but it ran cold. 2. The inside shower was the same, only a trickle of water and never hot. (The other faucets ran hot water not problem.) 3. The outside electric blackstone was very disappointing. (we have a blackstone at home, which we love) The first night my husband tried to cook 2 hamburgers and it took over an hour. 4. The induction burner inside to cook on was also a disappointment. I attempted to cook 4 slices of bacon for breakfast one morning and it took 45 minutes. The burner kept shutting down during the cooking process.

We cut our stay short and came home to hot water and proper cook appliances. So between the shower and cooking situation not sure we will be returning for a...
