We stayed at Angler’s Pointe during their Patriotic Palooza on July 5th, 2025. They are located on a serene part of Lake Logan Martin. While we stayed in a bungalow, they have several other options for lodging, including RV sites, cottages, tiny homes, glamping tents, and covered wagons (how fun!). They have areas for fire pits, a dog park, and a dedicated area to watch the sun set! You can rent tubes to relax in, which we did! They had a 4 seater covered tube we attached to the dock so we could float and relax peacefully. The grassy area was perfect for hosting their Patriotic Palooza. They had a live band performing all day into the night and they were great! The carnival attraction they hosted was super family friendly. The food trucks and vendors had something for everyone to enjoy.
Our bungalow was quaint and everything we needed for a one night stay. It had a covered back porch perfect for relaxing and drinking a cup of coffee. It had the comfiest bed I’ve ever stayed in on vacation; we slept SO well and the quiet hours were implemented without concern – no issues with noise whatsoever. The bungalows have such a cute and different vibe on the inside! The bathroom has a decent sized shower and they provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. All the linens were very stark and clean. The bungalow itself was cozy and spotless. It hosted a king-sized bed with a seating area to the side of the room. They provided velvet hangers for our clothes. The most important thing to us on vacation is ensuring the AC works well, especially during the hot summer months, and it was amazing! We stayed cool all night and when we came back to our bungalow from the lake, it had a welcoming coolness.
The staff was efficient and welcoming! We never went without anything we needed. They were always available to answer any questions we had. They are professional, respectful, and very informative of the experiences included in and around Angler’s Pointe. I felt safe and welcomed the entire stay. We had so much fun. We were more than impressed and happy with our stay at Angler’s Pointe.
I can’t say enough great things about Angler’s Pointe – the location, staff, vibe, view… 10/10! I can’t wait to see this place grow in each of their phases. If they are this great now, I can’t imagine what it will look like in the future. We can’t wait for...
Read moreI want to work an honest review of angler’s point. We stayed for 1 night in June 2025 in a luxury RV site, full hook ups, with a shared dock. The area is beautiful and a work in progress. I loved being able to have a covered site with a concrete pad and a patio. We did not have fans as pictured. They’ve invested a lot of money in different types of places, like tiny houses, bungalows, camping tents, etc. However, they need to add other important things that are currently missing. The shared dock would have been ok to fish off of, but there’s no ladder to be able to swim. The docks on the other “swimming” side are old and unsafe to use. They’ve added new ladders to the old docks. The boat launch is not clearly marked and there’s a string of lights over it that could be hit while launching. There is no bath house. There are no picnic tables for use at the sites. And finally the office is not clearly marked. Also, there is no pool yet. No curfew that I was told about for noise, but it was quiet for the most part. I was told there was a dog park, but I didn’t see one. Overall, it’s a lovely place if you are self contained and you just want to be able to look at the lake. Or if you have a boat and plan on going out to relax and use the lake that way. I was unable to see any of the private docks at other sites. Those might be nice. I look forward to coming again when they’ve added more...
Read moreI just spent 4 amazing days at Angler’s Pointe campground/resort. I’d love to label this place as “Fisherman’s Paradise” mainly because the accommodations were great. I served in the military 26 years as an Aircraft Mechanic and retired in 2002 and I’ve traveled all over camping and fishing events. Everyone knows that having comfortable accommodations and convenient access to gas, ice, and the boat ramp are all very important to a distraction free stay. Angler’s Pointe is conveniently located next door to the newest, best maintained, boat launching facility in the state of Alabama. You can Literally launch your boat at Lincoln Landing and depending upon the water level of the lake, you can park your boat on a dock behind your campsite. If you don’t own a RV, the options for accommodations abounds, you can rent a mini cabin, a cottage or even a stagecoach tent. They even have a stage for live entertainment. I camped here a few months ago and clearly recognized the growth and improvements they have accomplished in a very short period of time. If you’re a fisherman, camper, or just want to experience a great getaway you owe to yourself to check out Angler’s Pointe. If you’re in need of directions just log Lincoln Landing into your mapping app and look for the...
