Don's Motel — Hotel in Linton

My family recently stayed in Linton for a funeral. This motel is definitely small town. You even get a "real" key! It's cheap, and appeared relatively clean. It is very outdated. There is even a fly swatter in the room for your use. Usually I'm ok with outdated as long as it's clean, but the beds we had were horrible. My hips hurt in the morning. The shower was horrible, definitely need an upgrade there, not much pressure. It appeared a lot of construction or trade workers were staying at his motel. Other family stayed in the newer hotel across the street and were very happy with it. || Another thing to know about Linton is that there is only 1 restaurant and a pizza place and the hours are limited. The grocery store closes early and some places are closed both Sunday and Monday. The bars have some food items, such as appetizers and pizza, but you have to be 21 to be in the bars, so if you have little ones you're...

While I give five stars for the friendliness of the staff; the quiet location, the room itself was merely average. Now I love travel lodges; those single story - pull up to the door places that remind me of all the vacations my parents took me on as a kid. In 2021, I expect the outdated decor and feel of such places, and while Don's Motel provides that, it could use a little more updating on such things like the bathrooms. ||Don't expect wifi, in room coffee, or breakfast, (which I was fine with) but there was a mircrowave in the room, and since I always travel with a 'coffee kit', that worked for me. ||For the price, the great staff and the good nights sleep in a quiet location, I would definately reccomend this little...

We stayed here on our recent trip back from sturgis and this is a great place to stay Don and his wife are very great people! They offered us a ride into town to the store and everything ( we were on our bike pulling a little trailer) !! Nice clean rooms and a quiet place to get a good night's sleep!! And in the morning they told us where the local diner was even the housekeepers were nice i would highly recommend this place to anyone and the price is great!! I will most definitely stay again if im ever in the area!! Thanks...
