We stayed in this hotel for our short stay in Little Rock. We picked this location due to it being close to the airport. We reserved the room through booking.com. When we arrived late that evening, there was an older couple ahead of us checking in. After they got their room key and went to their room. The employee at the desk greeted us nicely. The check in process was easy as can be. They advised us of where our room was and what time the breakfast would be opened. We took the elevator to the 5th floor. Elevator was slow and had a really odd smell to it. Once we arrived on our floor, the older couple that was checking in ahead of us, were waiting for the elevator to go back to the front desk. They stated that the room the hotel gave them (with a key) already had people staying in that room. Those people were woken up by the older couple trying to get in, but yelled wrong room to them. But they opened the room with the key that was given to them. As my wife was talking to them, I tried our hotel room, which was right next to the elevator. Neither of two keys that were given to us would open the door. I went to the front desk with the older couple. After they gave the older couple a new room, I told the front desk of our issue. They apologized and reprogrammed the room key. I went back to the 5th floor to open our door, and those keys didn’t open the door either. Do I went back to the front desk. They apologized again and gave me a different room of less value as I paid for the two king size beds. I was given two queen beds. The front desk employee that evening was great, the only thing that bugged me was the blame was put on someone else that wasn’t working at the time. We did our stay that evening, but the room was old, and smelled like it. Some of lights didn’t even work. The pillows were so small, like you would have them on a couch. E stayed because it was very late at night/early in the morning. We had another reservation for the same hotel two nights later. Now I spoke to the front desk employee later that morning. Now that employee basically put the blame on me for the fact the first room didn’t open. She said it worked for her. She wasn’t working when we arrived, but knew of the issue we had. She knew of our other reservations for the next day. But stated because we booked through booking.com, we weren’t going to get a refund of any kind. She did apologize, but again she made the situation as if it was my fault. So I decided to eat the cost of the room, and got a reservation at a different hotel. I hope they use my money I spent to retrain that employee. Update the elevator and rooms. But we’ll never stay there again. Now I hope your stay goes better. But if there is any issues, they may just make you feel like a stupid person, say they are sorry and just keep your money. Cause you will be accosted by a rude and vile gutter snake by the name of JoDee Hanson.|Not only did she call me a liar over the phone when I was calling to verify how much I was charged. She had the audacity to rushe off the phone with out letting me speak 8 called back several times with in five or so minutes. Most times to be left on hold. And then when I asked why she hung up on in a sly voice JoDee told me I would never hang up on a hotel guest I just put you on hold. I think that was rude. Till this stay it will be my last.|The young man at the desk in the evening he's not warm at all only concerned about being on the phone. Now almost every one else was warm and kind.|Next being my mother is disabled and uses a walk and that elevator being on the shaky side gave me great concern the whole stay with our room on the 3rd floor.|Now I've been been returning for the the last 5 years. This was the worst condition I've ever seen this place in.|Next thing the room was subpar clean but being that I've always enjoyed my stay I didn't make a fuss. Not every time is going to be great so I thought.|Well it did the fact that in the top of the closet there were from a very long time elapsed persons underware left in the top of the closet nasty. Anderson by the amount of dust on them and that shelf yuck.|Upon check in the was a quarter of a roll of toilet paper and only two sheets of tissue in the box. I didn't make a big deal of it I just went to the front desk and asked for some more. That night.|The house keeper speaks little to no English and don't understand the do not disturb sign. No knock just flings the door open.|We leave in to go start our day come back she's rearranged our belongings. 🤔.|All of the other trips and stays I've never seen such small pillows here.|Then to top it off which I'm glad it was my last night of our stay.|The whole facility loses cable TV at approximately 10:15pm never to come back on.||Well many many say well you never said anything till the last night of your. Which is correct. Cause this stay I payed not through the hotel website but through booking.com|It was prepaid I knew I wasn't going get my money back I still needed to have accommodations. Read moreIf you're a diamond member, then DON'T stay here. They don't give you the privileges you get for being a loyal customer/member of Choice Hotels. I requested for late checkout at 1pm and was given a hard time and the attitude for asking for it. Upon checking in, I requested for it (I also made a note of the special request before reservation) and I was told that it is only upon availability. I asked if that's the case even for a diamond member and the guy said I would need to talk to the manager and then he tossed the welcome packet and drink over the counter. What a way to greet guests. It was a two night stay so the next day I spoke with the manager and requested the same thing and while I was explaining that I had a zoom meeting that is why I'm requesting a late checkout, she cut me off saying she can only do 12:30 with an attitude. I don't have time to argue with people so I let it go but these staff needs to do better.
If you're not paying for elite membership to get the perks and privileges when staying at Choice Hotel, then you'll probably be okay staying here but not for the elite members. Their rooms are okay although paints on bathroom door was chipping off. Great for travelers whose flights are being delayed because of its close location to the airport but will not stay here again for a weekend vacation at Little Rock.

Yes, we spoke at 7am but you said you CAN ONLY do 12:30. I said I am a diamond member and I needed that late checkout and you specifically said "I understand but we can only do 12:30". I'm not going to ask twice especially if you're giving me the attitude. Besides why would I have to call again asking for the same thing when you could've granted that in the first place?
