Kokomo Farms was everything I wished and hoped for in celebrating 32 years if marriage. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by Greg the owner! A warm welcome as he showed us to our tiny cottage. You could see he loves this, being able to share his beautiful property with others. Hubby and I walked the property, fed the horses carrots (awesome experience so shop before you come and break into 3's) but surprisingly the owners had treats available to feed the horses. And chicken feed to feed the chickens! A sweet touch! They have games available in little niches! Cute pathways around the property which were lit up at night! My husband and I spent 2 hours relaxing in a hammock listening to music along with the sound of nature! Trudy, the other owner came to introduce herself as we sat in the hot tub and was sensitive to not being intrusive. She is also so kind! And brought us a fresh loaf of sourdough! YUM! We didn't get to try Greg's famous brick oven pizza as we did have reservations but I can tell you I'll definitely want it my next visit! There are so many choices of different types of properties on their farm that you would not find elsewhere! This trip, we did the tiny cottage but look forward to trying some of the other choices on their property! We even painted a wood block memorializing our anniversary! We will definitely be back!!! Thanks for having such a wonderful piece of magic for those of us seeking a different kind of overnight experience!

ย ย ย Read moreDriving to Kokomo you are surrounded by tall pine trees in the middle of the country. The home is nestled in the back from the road. Pulling in, the horses run to great you waiting for affection and carrots. Upon entering the home, it is nicely decorated and transformed into a true country, relaxing, serene environment. It's quiet, peaceful and so inviting. The porch has tons of lawn games available, great seating for viewing nature. To the side of the home is a wonderful garden oasis, hot tub, seating area and a fire pit area. Inside, the home is a nice sitting area and rooms easily accessible. There is info on things to do in the area. Instantly, Greg and Trudy greets you with a warm smile and while there, you will feel as if your part of the family. All the guest are very respectful, kind and great company. Evenings we found our way to the fire pit circle sipping on wine and chatting with other guest. We loved Greg's homemade wood grilled pizza, a definite have to try when there. The host are so amazing and friendly. We can't wait to return and bring more family with us on vacation. You could literally spend a weekend on the property without traveling the area and enjoy a mini vaca. We saw guest with young children, the kids were full of smiles and had a blast hanging around the garden, animals and tree swing. Highly recommended for a stay at Kokomo. The breakfast is fresh from the garden/farm and incredible. Looking foward to booking again...
