⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Peaceful and Rejuvenating Getaway at Cameron Ranch Glamping – Coldspring, TX
My wife and I were recently looking for a quick weekend getaway to relax and reconnect after going through some difficult times. One evening, I came across Cameron Ranch Glamping on Facebook and decided to save it. The following Friday morning, while driving my wife to work, we started talking about getting away — and I showed her Cameron Ranch. We decided to book a stay last minute, not really expecting availability, but to our surprise, we were able to book the ZenDen Cabin for the weekend!
Before arriving, I reached out to management to confirm the booking and inquire about the romance package. While we weren’t able to get the package due to the short notice (which is totally understandable since it must be booked a week in advance), the communication with management was great — they were responsive, polite, and helpful every step of the way.
When we arrived, we unloaded our truck and immediately got into the hot tub, which was perfectly heated. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and peaceful — the perfect place to unwind. The amenities offered were beyond what we expected. We chose not to use the extra add-ons and instead focused on spending quality time together, rebuilding and reconnecting.
The weekend was everything we needed and more. It helped us relax, communicate, and grow even closer. We’ve already decided that we’ll be returning — hopefully once a month. While I’d love to try out the other cabins in the future, I especially loved the ZenDen because it’s fully fenced in, giving us privacy and peace without any distractions.
Throughout our stay, management remained available by text and responded quickly whenever we had questions. The location in Coldspring, Texas was also perfect — only about an hour from our home in Houston, so it felt remote but still close enough in case of an emergency.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, private, and refreshing getaway, I highly recommend Cameron Ranch Glamping. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a wonderful, relaxing experience for us. We’ll...
Read moreWe had an amazing time staying at the mirror house, it was what we needed it to be. A simple cute weekend getaway. We did enjoy that is was very quiet, we loved how dark it was around us at night the curtains were there but we never used them. I am leaving a 5 star review because we didnt have to complain or reach out to the host, their communication up to the time for check-in was exceptional. But, there are things to consider when staying at the mirror house. 1.) There was a cardinal that woke us up at 6am both mornings. Flying into the windows and running up the glass. Initially it was cute to see but it persisted anytime we were inside. It would also come around to the front door (also a mirror) and do the same thing all day long into the night. We didn't read any reviews about birds but doubt if we are the only ones to experience this. (Yes, national forest in the back but the cardinal was slightly annoying when you just want to sleep in, Sunday we were also greeted by a woodpecker but it merely walked around just looking at it's reflection). this is something the host cannot control but if you are going to stay here its something to be aware of 2.) You are secluded however the Dome getaway is only a couple yards away but you will still have privacy. Those guest did walk by as we were sitting in the sauna/hot tub area, so just something to be mindful of. (The storm caused them to have to rebuild from where it initially was) 3.) Out back the stairs to no where, again I know the rainstorm from last yr had everything to do with that but in my opinion it should just be blocked off. 4) The video they sent explaining everything was great but they also mentioned that one fridge under the cabinet should still work but they had an interim fridge as well. However, the fridge under the cabinet did have a pungent smell so we never used it. Only the one near the window.
Overall, yes experience was great. We went and did exactly what it was we wanted and that was to just enjoy our disconnected alone...
Read moreWe just left Cameron ranch clamping, we stayed in the geodome. I would like to give more stars but for the price we paid I don’t think it’s worth more than 3. First I didn’t like that it wasn’t very private. The neighbor that lived next door was out walking around and asked who we were while we were outside and rude at first. The receptionist was not responsive when we needed them but the property manager was very helpful. We couldn’t figure out how to turn off the bright led signs and the fire alarm kept going off in the middle of the night for no reason. As soon as we walked in the entire place smelled like bleach very strongly. We had to air it out for a while before coming inside. The guidebook needs updated, they didn’t have the same amenities that were mentioned, a lot of things had batteries that were run out and we couldn’t figure out how to work a couple things. But other than all of that the place was spacious and The aesthetics were nice, the hot tub was great. Loved the fireplace and the fact that there was a...
