Dale Hollow Inn — Hotel in Livingston

Great lodging in this area. Not a lot of options and I based my pick off everything I could find about them online. Happy with my choice. Location is near the lake, dam, state park, etc. Owner is a super nice man. Room was clean. Linens were nice and white. They smelled clean. Mini fridge, microwave, TV - all working. AC worked well. No phone signal here but they have Free WIFI and it works well. Well decorated walls. Large deck outside with tables, chairs and umbrellas for outdoor sitting. Love they had a ceiling fan in the room. There is a 75 cent soda machine out front. The only reason they aren’t getting 5 stars is because the door had no deadbolt, chain, etc. just a door knob which wasn’t very secure. I’m not familiar with the area. Third stay and as always I love it. Nice cozy room with everything you need. I like the fact there are no deadbolts or high tech security because you aren’t safe. I feel safe here and sleep so sound. I have yet to stay here and be annoyed over sounds outside of my room. Rooms have been clean, smell pleasant, no nasty carpet, fresh bedding and towels. The owner’s are such kind caring people. Quiet,cozy,didnt have to have reaervations to get our room.1st thing i check out is the shower&toilet&i have to say i was suprised at how clean they were.No old mildew,no gross hairs left behind,toilet paper&towels stoocked,air worked great.The wood floors give you the added feeling that the room is cleaner due to no soiled carpets&thats a plus!O yeah.the room smelt so nice,kinda floral.The price wasnt bad@all esp considering its the summer months&there are lil restaurants close by...
