An adorable little cabin at a great rental price with everything you'll need to have a fun, relaxing time in Hocking Hills. We stayed in the Wind Chime cabin which was perfect for us three girls enjoying the weekend hiking. It's right behind the owners' Wind chime shop and close to Ilesboro Road, but it was still quiet and peaceful while being located close to the caves, hiking trails, and main roads. There's not a ton of restaurants, but that's okay; Logan is a 20 minute drive away where you can buy groceries and cook at the cabin which is well stocked with pots, pans, and other cookery. There are two queen sized beds, so plenty of room for guests to sleep! Also, check out the John Glenn Astronomy Park on clear weekend evenings, they have a wonderful stargazing program and super cool telescopes! I was saddened by the lack of reviews on the Wind Chime cabin so I decided to add to it because I was really happy with our choice and hope you decide to stay...

I enjoyed my coffee on the porch rocking chairs surrounded by the peaceful woods. We all enjoyed the hot tub after hiking in Hocking Hills and watched movies at night, from the ones provided in the cabin. The only downside was the sulfur smell in the bathroom sink & toilet, since I assume its on well water, but the shower and kitchen water were perfectly fine. We made sure to visit the Wind Chime Shop & Christmas/Candle Shop and met Judy, the owner, who was so sweet and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this...
Read moreWe just stayed in the wind chime cabin and LOVED it. The only complaint I had was my pillows were hard, but my husband loved that. lol The pond is great, we caught a bluegill and fed the turtles. We tried catching frogs but they were a little quick for us. They had so many amenities, I can't possibly list them all. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband, me and our two boys. It is right behind the shops, but they did an awesome job of sectioning it off so you dont feel like you are in the shop traffic. My 8 year old is already planning our trip...
