Hocking Hills Cozy Cabins - Valo Vasha Rentals — Hotel in Logan

My husband and I booked a weekend getaway for April 13, 2018 to April 15, 2018. The "cottage" is advertised as secluded. Upon arriving to this "cottage", it was in a neighborhood type setting, trashy trailers lined the road. There were occupied mobile homes all around us. We walked into this "cottage" and it smelled like stale cigarettes. There was no cozy cottage feel like you would get from other companies that rent cottages and cabins in Hocking Hills We have stayed with many companies in Hocking Hills the past 6 years. My husband and I like to try out a different company everytime we come to Hocking Hills. This was by far the WORST company we have every stayed with. This place was filthy. There was dust on the furniture, crumbs on the carpet, dry crusty food on the stove, the microwave had nasty food all over the inside, there was hair, maybe dog hair (hard to tell) ON BOTH BED SHEETS!!! The sheets and blankets stunk. The one bathroom to the left smelled like rotten eggs. The hot tub had a slimy film on top of the water, there were mouse dropping in the cupboards, This place was inadequately stocked with basics, such as first aide kit, lighter, what to do in case of an emergency, there were no after hours contact info, there was no landline and cell phone service was not available. My husband and I had no choice but to stay the whole night. We checked in a little after 7:30p on Friday night and by the time we did our walk through and checked everything out, it was too dark to leave. The driveway is very steep and it was very dark. My husband and I stayed up all night, waiting for the sun to come up so we could leave. We checked out at 7:00 am. This "cottage" needs a serious upgrade. The trailer home has never been updated. It looked like a 1970's type trailer/modular home. I am extremely disappointed and I expect a FULL refund. Also, the website says its 99$ a night, however they charged us $315.00 for the two nights. If I am paying these kind of prices to stay in a cabin/cottage, I expect more. I went to the website to email the company because they are not answering the phones and the link to email them is not working. Also, in the "cottage", the only signs they have hanging up are signs that say clean up after yourself or they will charge you outrageous fees. This is a hack company. I advise NOT to stay with...

The couple was nice this is no reflection of who they are. However, the cabin was disappointing at every turn. The bedroom on the first floor smelled like urine and mold. After trying to sleep in there for the first night (It was the big bed) we moved to the upstairs after a few hours because of the smell. The upstairs bed was small and uncomfortable and the sheets were questionable ( they popped off the mattress and the pillows weren’t put in their cases when we arrived). In the morning we found out the air conditioner in the downstairs bedroom was covered with black mold (Moisture coming off the hot tub) and blowing that air into the cabin. My husband ended up sleeping on the chair and I slept on the couch our second night because it was more comfortable than the bed. The hot tubs jets weren’t on the first day when we arrived. We left for a short time to get some food and came back to them being switched on. We deduced that they hadn’t put any chemicals in it before we arrived to get it ready So they quickly did it while we were gone. We know this because the water would produce this soap like foam any time the jets were turned on and irritated our skin when we tried to get in it that night. We didn’t have any use of the hot tub until the morning we had to check out we used it for 20 min. The seats by the fire pit were pitiful. There was no grill tools like a spatula or tongs. I had to use a fork. And lastly there is no WiFi or cell service unless you drive down the hill and sit in front of their house. We rented the A-Frame for privacy and relaxation and we got...

we booked 2 nights at Cozy Cabin, Redwood cottage on Nov 20-22 2020. we left the very next morning . not staying our two nights we payed for..As we arrived at this cabin I knew immediately that this was not the cabin we seen on the website. Now before even showing up ,the owners had told us that this has been updated and assured us it was , as we described what we were seeing online on the pics. soon arrival the smell alone blew us away. years of dust on the plant’s,interior straight out of the 1970s. mobil home cut in half is what this was. as we took our tour , to start watch your step, floor caves in in many places, this “cabin was 2 bedroom and two baths, stains on the walls and ceiling and the smell omg... as we went into the bathroom one shower didn’t even have a shower head so could not use and the other bathroom was pure disgusting discoloration of bath tub what looks like years of dust around floor. fireplace non working.. now the kitchen we have multiple pics of this place and will upload if we can.. to say others of this nightmare, but the kitchen was filthy , stove hood range was filled with black mold, microwave filthy and limited kitchen supplies. also found something black growing behind fridge. i will assure we will hot tub had a slimy film on top and water was milky buyer be wear stay away from cozy cabins I demand...
