Great room for the price range. I was in two area for two nights and stayed here one night but wish I had stayed here rather than my cheap budget hotel for the other night. It's very comfy and cozy and homey. The spa bath in your own room is very nice, I didn't see scum until I got out and noticed a couple bits. The room has a heater/fan which was nice as it was a bit cold still in April. The area is in the woods but not too far away from the city. But the drive up the tiny winding one way road was a bit scary..food options were a bit confusing; if you don't plan on having the group dinner I don't believe there are any food options outside of breakfast so make sure to bring your own. Also, the website lists a lot of different breakfast options like pancakes, French toast, etc so I thought I would be choosing from these things but the breakfast is just what they cook that day which for us was eggs, cinnamon apples, asparagus and home baked bread. It was good but I thought there would be more options like the site lists. There is tea and coffee offered but the creamer was very old and almost gone and had flakes around the lid. All in all it was a good budget stay if you are looking for a woodsy, homey location.

What an awesome place! I stayed at Blue Mountain B&B while in town for a professional conference. It was the perfect cozy place to decompress afterwards. The property and views are beautiful and the rooms/other spaces are adorable. I felt so well cared for - so many details were considered in the accommodations but also had tons of privacy. Thrilled to have been able to bring my golden retriever with great places to walk him. Such a delicious breakfast! It might be my favorite place that I've ever stayed . I will no doubt be back!

This East Coaster recently traveled West, further from home than ever before. Blue Mountain was the first bed I slept in on my trip. Arriving in the late hours of night the scenery was scarce save for the blanket of innumerable stars that shone unencumbered by the typical light pollution to which I was so accustomed. Rising from a restful sleep I was greeted by the sun peeking just over the mountain ridge that instilled in me a feeling that I was home. I look forward to the day when I return to this wonderful place.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying with Brady and his pup Charlie June 22-26 2018. Every day started off with warm sunshine waking us up to beautiful views of the Bitteroot River and Valley below the mountain retreat. Breakfast meals were expertly prepared by Brady each morning with offerings of Huckleberry puff pancakes , Eggs Benedict, French Toast with Almonds, seasonal fresh fruit, juice, and coffee.

During our stay we learned that Brady, his wife, and In-Laws built this oasis themselves :) The Koi pond and Japanese garden off the back terrace is so tranquil. The front balcony is lined with humming bird feeders and other bird feeders that attract a host of aviary friends to watch at all different times of the day.

We stayed in the 'Ponderosa Room' that has its own balcony with views of the river and valley below, the mountains surrounding Missoula including Mt. Jumbo and the famous 'M', and some pretty spectacular homes recently built in the valley. The balcony was a nice retreat to enjoy some wine and cheese and the lights of Missoula off in the distance. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept with the sliding glass door open to allow in a cool night breeze.

Lastly....We can't say enough kind things about our host Brady. As other reviewers have noted, he is always "there" to assist but his presence is not "intrusive". He is always prepared to offer assistance, advice, or increase your knowledge about all things 'Montana' or most any other subject you care to discuss for that matter.

I could go on and on but I will end by saying...."Just go stay with Brady at Blue Mountain Bed &...

Rooms: We stayed in the Bitteroot room and upon arrival the room was impressively clean and tidy. The room came with its own bathroom, bath, and shower. Comfy bed, TV, with an amazing view.

Hospitality: The owners are friendly without being intrusive, providing a welcomed sense of home away from home. We stayed in the newly developed lodge which offered an upstairs recreational area for play, leisure, or work. They had a closet stocked with movies to watch, a pool table for a quick game, and a white screen for business meetings. The host was very helpful when asked about local restaurant and hiking trails.

Breakfast: AMAZING. First we enjoyed eggs Benedict with fresh coffee and juice each morning. The next morning we enjoyed German pancakes topped with blueberries and huckleberries accompanied with sausage and eggs. The last morning consisted of Swedish pancakes, peppered bacon, and rolled egg omelette. After the first morning, breakfast was always an anticipation point for the days to come.

Area: Incredibly beautiful. Scenery that out paces the eyes. The host maintains hummingbird feeders alongside chipmunk feeding trays for beautiful wild life while eating breakfast or lounging near the lodge. Trails for natural forests are very close by as well as the city of Missoula for easy travel and access to other activities.

All in all the experience was exceptional from start to finish. We are first time bed and breakfast adventurists but this place has...
