Long Creek Lodge — Hotel in Long Creek

This is the only motel option in town, yet surpasses expectations given a lack of competition. Small, at only 5 rooms, but ours was spotless, roomy, and conveniently provided both a fridge and microwave. The rooms have interior entry only via a pleasant welcoming lobby. A limited continental breakfast was even included with coffee, fruit, instant oatmeal, etc. 5 star rating for friendliness and helpfulness. First of all: we didn't actually stay in the lodge. We only rented space on a nearby field belonging to the owners to camp overnight. The owners were extremely kind and helpful, even though we weren't official residents at their lodge - offered us lemonade, welcomed us to sit in the lobby to use their wifi link etc. Their lobby was very clean and neat, also very cute and charming, including metal elk decorations along the staircase. Also, previously the owners were very helpful over the phone and email when we arranged for the lodging. The proprietor is extremely helpful. As bicyclists we needed to know our options for meals and she provided solid information when we called ahead of time. She knew a first floor room would be helpful and provided that. The room was large and she suggested bringing our bikes in - another significant help. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean.
