Maryann and John have cultivated such a wonderful park just a few minutes from Mackay, ID. We stayed for a month and enjoyed it so much. They have fairly reliable internet (enough for Zoom calls) and it only struggled a bit over the weekends when the park was packed. The laundry and bathrooms were super clean. They were so communicative and helpful with recommendations for the best spots and we felt welcomed immediately. We've been full-time for a year and some parks stand out above the rest - this is one of those. It's not the fanciest campground but it feels like you're right at home. We would stay again for quick trips and a longer stay! Mackay, ID is big on ATVs so there are trails everywhere and the campground gives you direct access. There's also a rental place in town if you don't own an ATV. Make sure to go to the reservoir and have a day in the water, too! Ivie's Market has some basics and raw milk but you'll need to plan for groceries in Idaho Falls if you're there for an extended period of time. Scoops ice cream is DELICIOUS. Grab BBQ at L7 (best I've had almost anywhere). Make sure to grab coffee at Dana's Place. Amazing wood-fired Pizza at Bear Bottom Inn. Drive by places and look at hours before you plan to go - a lot of these spots are family owned and have flexible hours! Read Less

We loved it here! It also sits right between Arco and Mackay, if you need groceries, etc. The camp host was so friendly, we decided to stay a 3rd night. Wifi worked great and the laundry room along with the bathrooms were very clean. They even have a small convenience store in their office. Ice, snacks, apparel, etc. We will definitely be back!

June 13-16. Awesome Views, Great hosts, willing to help with just about anything. Did I mention awesome views? Clean facilities, shower was great after dusty UTV rides. You can ride UTV, ATV's out of the park and into Mackay if you wish. Long pull thru sites, 70'..We are already planning another stay. Lots to do in the area.

We've been to many RV parks in many states. I must say, this is my favorite so far! The owners are fantastic people, very helpful and happy 😁! They have a cute doggie park that is eco-friendly where you have benches to sit while your dogs play. The cabins they have for rent are so quaint and perfect, I may rent one for the sake of 'me time', good excuse as any😏! One of them has a loft...., nope, you'll just have to see it for yourself. I couldn't do it justice with my words! They also have campers that have been remodeled for rent on site. A shower house and laundry room provided! It's super clean, meaning just what I said. The wildlife is abundant, hummingbirds, deer, etc. If you're like me and see an animal that you have to pet.., there are horses across the way that come right up to you, and some really cute pot belly pigs up the way! And there are trails right out of the park that go up into the mountains, perfect for RTVs!

Full hookups available, and sites up to 70 ft! So if you're planning on a weekend or a month, they've got you covered!!!

It feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, but the quaint towns either way off the main road are inviting and close. 10 minute drive north to Makay, or 15 minutes to Moore. They have everything you need, gas station, grocery, mom and pop restaurants, post office, etc. You don't feel like you're drowning in a corporate atmosphere like WalMart or something when you go get groceries! It's really nice 🙂!

There is a reservoir about 20 minutes north passed Makay that you can picnic at, or do some boating ,and it's just breathtaking. They also have a place for hang gliding not far if you're the adventurous type! And there are old mining towns you can explore that are also close. It's all around, family friendly.

Best of all, when you walk out of your RV in the morning, the view is absolutely beautiful ❤️! Once more, my words just can't do it justice! And it's quiet!!!!!! Peace at last 😎!

I highly recommend checking this place out along your travels, you won't be disappointed! This place definitely takes you away from the every day hustle and bustle of anxiety...

We had a terrible experience with the customer service at this RV park.

We had a reservation, but when we got there, there was no one at the office to check in. There was a sign saying to call if they weren't there. So we tried calling on three of our cell phones. No one answered. We waited for 15 minutes and finally decided to just find an empty spot and come back to the office in a bit (hoping someone would show up).

Well as soon as we start to park, someone comes up on a golf cart and starts yelling at us. I don't mean politely asking us what we're doing, full on yelling. We explain that no one was at the office and the owner rudely says that there's a sign telling you to call. We explain that we did call several times and no one answered.

She then checks her phone and gets kind of embarrassed, realizing she ignored our calls. She got nicer at this point and told us what spot we were in, but it was too late for me.

Even if you didn't know what someone is doing, you could be polite about it.

The RV park itself is fine but nothing special. The WiFi is awful, so don't expect to really be able to do anything on it.

I would never recommend staying here because of the terrible management/customer service and bad...
