Okay....as an east coast traveler with boulevard motels and the such all around, I'd normally roll right past this place. Don't. It is one of the only places in town to stay and the owners (their sons, really) did a terrific job making us feel welcomed and comfortable. While the block of rooms may look dated and a little worn, look again. Nice metal chairs and tables out front, new model AC units, new carpet, clean room, SOFT sheets and great pillows, quality towels, perfect bed, and great information available in the office and the room. Check-In: Easy and convenient as you drive up.
Drive to the spot: A bit tight but expected for a 40-ft 5th wheel,
Spot: Clean, good power, convenient sewage location and water. Picnic table was clean and nice.
Parking: There was not enough room to keep our truck on our spot, but there was space for our truck in plain View.

We would...

Not to mention the shower head was just a full on stream like a hose. Called to ask for a fan and they said oh ya we meant to put in some air conditioners we bought but haven't got around to it. Like Jesus Christ it's a window air conditioner it takes 20 minutes at most. But two of the other rooms had air conditioning, it's not a luxury when it's 95 degrees outside its a necessity take a little pride in your hotel and put a little effort into making it comfortable for people. just because its Mackay doesn't mean it has to be ghetto....
