I’ve lived within 35 minutes of this place for almost 30 yrs and never new what a gem it was. Attended a lunch meeting here last Sat and then spent the afternoon with family who had brought their RV up the night before. The house you see was the Original from the early 1800’s and now they have RV camping pads w/hookups, cabins, hotel rooms, meeting rooms, wedding venues and a fabulous restaurant with buffet meals to die for. Swimming area is open in the summer with canoe and kayak rentals. The 100 acre lake and grounds are beautiful. Only wish I had taken more pics of the grounds. The fish shown here are catfish and grass carp. These aren’t koi. Had to catch a shot with one of their cute duck friends. Also saw blue gill and red ear swimming right off one of the piers where you can feed the fish with food purchased inside.

This place is truly a hidden gem tucked away behind the pine trees in Louisville Mississippi. The "lake of pines"(Choctaw-english translation) is a great place to rest or pitch a tent at a primitive campsite! Their lunch specials are sure to keep you and your wallet full! Relax and grab a couple brews at the new bar recently added to the resort. You can also host your next business presentation, or maybe even your wedding rehearsal. You'll have plenty of breathtaking views and tons of options for photos and don't forget toblay out on the white sand beachfront to catch some rays while the kids swim!

We left the room to go to visit family. It was raining...pouring...could not see cross the road... there was a little water in our bathroom. I decided to put our suitcases on the bed. When we returned our room was flooded. I was able to move everything to the bed. My husband went to the office and we had immediate help. We were moved to another room immediately. It was not te resorts fault. You would have to have been there to watch the "Gulley washer" We love lake TIAK-O KHATA and will stay there again on our next trip.

Do not pull into the parking lot at the office/restaurant. Because of restaurant patrons, you may not be able to get out again. We have a 36' Class C and had to unhook our toad in order to get out. Even at that, it was a difficult maneuver. You should go past the restaurant and turn in to the RV park (the first right turn, there is a sign). After you turn onto the access road, you'll come to a Y in the road. Bear to the right (the sign says you'll be heading for Pine Ridge Lodge). I suggest you park at the bathhouse and walk through the campground looking for a site. When you pull out from the bathhouse, instead of taking the left turn and negotiating the trees there, go straight. That's a better road. It will take you in a circle around the RV sites. Find your site and get set up. Then go to the office to sign in and tell them the site number. You have to go into the restaurant, past a nice sitting area with a view of the lake, down a hallway where tables are set up and people are eating, before you get to the office. Very strange. The roads in the campground are narrow, gravel, and not well-maintained. Once set up, sprinkle ant powder all around the outside of your RV. We didn't know about the ant problem until the day after we got there. Then we had an infestation of small ants, it seemed like thousands of them. We set off Raid Fumigator and went out for the day. That killed them. Then we sprinkled the ant powder around, and that kept them away. We thought that maybe we were the only ones with the problem until we saw the ant powder sprinkled around other RVs. Whenever you go outside your RV, I suggest you use Off. The no-see-ums bite. Having said all that, we really did like the campground. The sites are on level cement pads. There's a picnic table and a grill. There's also a fire pit, but ours had a half-burned fence post and trash in it, so we didn't use it. The sites are shady, which we liked, and we had a view of the lake, which is beautiful. This is a beautiful, quiet campground, but the management doesn't seem to care about it. They're more interested in the hotel and...

I’ll have to say, the setting for this hotel is beautiful with the lake and all and the staff were very accommodating and cheerful but, that’s where it ends. We were originally put in room 280 but asked to be switched the first night due to a noisy neighbor. We were then put in room 253 which was much better. The issue with our first room, #280, was the patron next door had the tv turned up so loud, we like distinctly hear every word and was unable to sleep. The elderly woman didn’t turn the tv off until 11:30pm and then on again at 4:30am. The doors adjoining the two rooms are the old hollow doors one would find in a house built in the 50’s without any insulation factor at all. Along with the thin walls, the vinyl on the chairs were split pinching the back of your legs if you sit down in anything other than pants. The tile floors are outdated and even though the bed was said to be a queen, I swear it was no larger than a full size. ||Room 253 was much quieter but not sure we had neighbors. This room also came with its own problems. Needed to call the front desk only to find out the phone in the room didn’t work. The furniture is falling apart and the beds were extremely high for a hotel. No way could an elderly person be able to get into bed without needing assistance. This room had the same old tile floors and although the bed seemed larger than our first room, still unsure if it was a true queen. ||Will we stay again? Even though there is a limited number of hotels in the Louisville area, we will rent a VRBO or head to Kosciusko where the options for hotels are greater. We’ve stayed in lessor priced hotels that were fakes...
