We pulled through town at dusk on a Sunday & decided to stay the night as the next town over was over an hour away. There were no registration packets available at the office upon pulling up & we didn't have enough bars to look up the phone number to the campground without a wifi connection. We decided to set up & call the park once we were able to connect to our personal hotspot. When we tracked down the contact info to the park we reached the owner. Initially, the owner advised we could fill out the paperwork in the morning but that was later retracted through text message. The owner extended her hospitality by telling us to just leave & stay at the rv park on the other end of town. She rationalized this by saying we had no intention of paying for the night & demanded complete credit card info- again through text message. By the time all was said & done, it was after 11pm. We are traveling with our 2 small children & driving an hour out was not practical so we were forced to text this woman our credit card details. I would like to note the as we arrived at this park, 2 police officers followed us in & proceeded to confront residents of the park. The entire park was dirt with the sporadic tree that appeared half dead. The womans bathroom contained 2 small stalls with 1 tiny shower stall the appearer to have been removed from a rv & installed in their out building. I do not reccomend this park as the facilities are run down & dated while the owner was incredibly...

It apparently was a good place to live, so when I wanted to move in over two years ago they wouldn't even return my calls much less let me in, and now recently several friends of mine keep being threatened with eviction because they are poor, not fancy enough, and the man doesn't get enough hours to be Richie Rich like they are apparently trying to shift it all to being old the rich boomering people so I'd avoid this place if I were you because all common sense shows that trying to go live there now would either be impossible or end badly for you..... You don't like honest commentary ? Then learn to run a business like everyone there is family , and no one would be being threatened to have their lives ruined there too now, which is exactly what they did to the Brookwood RV park as well over the past months, all normal poor people tenants that have to live in a cheap park are being evicted left and right and there's nowhere really to go for them, so apparently Lovelock in general is turning into a bad place to live run by mean trumpette types who always are first people they want evicted and gone so the richies can buy it and the town turns into rich freaks only kind of place, I'm sure glad I'm moving to a nother state now , where it's safe and...

Greatest owners you will find. Very reasonable prices as well. No problems with utilities or getting my 34' 5th wheel in a good spot. As far as it not having grass, you are in the DESERT people! One that has been through a 5 year drought!! I am very happy they are not wasting precious water on grass. The campground is clean, with large cottonwoods. I have been staying there for a few months, and have never not seen the owners working on fixing up something. They are putting a lot of work into the campground, and you can tell. I am also shocked to see reviews about "waiting to show up". They have a sign in the window, and a 2 second google search gives you a number to call. I have called it several times and gotten a hold of them every time. If you owned a business, would you put someone at a desk 24 hours a day, when probably 2 or 3 campers come through on average? In this day and age of cell phones? Unless you are a whiner, I am sure you will be happy with the Lazy K, and you won't find better within 80...
