Cabin Craft Ski Shop and Outdoor Adventures - Spring Mount — Hotel in Lower Frederick

The last time we were there (Micki/Niels, Mark/Barb) was camping as volunteers @ the Philly Folk Fest 2004. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL camping there, Tom was always such a GREAT guy! Probably almost 20yrs I camped there with Mark/Barb, Micki with me 11 of those years. We all took the site way in the back of the grounds, absolutely LOVED it there. 2004 was our last year only because we bought a big enough RV that wouldn't go over the bridge, we probably could've parked it in the front lot, but had an offer from another friend at their site on "the hill" at the Fest our last year in '05, then moved outta the area a few years later to 10ac in the center top tier of PA. What an absolutely awesome & wonderful place to camp for the Fest! ALWAYS clean, spacious, cool, & quiet! LOVED IT! Do you still offer such services? Is Tom still around? SO GOOD to see the shop still there & functional...even if we're now too...

The service here is dissatisfying, disappointing and very annoying. I have been waiting for three weeks now for them to get back to me. They do not call to update you on any service that you are receiving. They make you pay for their equipment even before receiving the finished product and then make you wait with no update for weeks on end. When you call them nobody is ever there. The flood damage there has destroyed many of there items and then move them to an area they say has been cleaned. They tried to charge me almost full price for boots that were damaged by the water. I would go there again based on some other items I received there. But know that nobody there is experienced and you should know yourself...

My fiance and I went skiing at Spring Mountain, which Cabin is conveniently located right down the street. I had to rent equipment as I don't currently own any and their prices are much cheaper than the rentals at the resort, not to mention the help is top notch. Every question we had was answered and the atmosphere was great. They sized me to a perfect boot and hooked me up with skiblades which I had a blast on. They even let me demo the Sled dog skis, which are crazy fun. The owners were awesome to speak to, the employees are passionate about all sports, extremely knowledgeable, and even more so helpful. I will definitely be back soon to make my equipment...
