Don't know how anyone could rate this place at anything less than 5 stars. Bill has created a wonderful getaway in an old Coast Guard station in one of the loveliest places in the country. Don't let the age of the historic buildings fool you. Accommodations are very modern on the inside and very clean. On-site FREE washer and dryer use in the utility area (not in the units) . Satellite TV. Microwaves, refrigerators and stoves in the units. Irons and ironing board available. No air conditioning, but with the almost always present ocean breezes you won't need A/C anyway. "Low stress" is the key way to describe the entire stay here. So quiet and serene. No parking hassles. Getting settled in is a snap. Lots of outdoor space, decks and patio areas. And the views of the bay and Campobello Island are amazing. Less than a mile from West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and the easternmost spot on the USA. Just 10 minutes to Lubec, Maine and the bridge to Campobello Island. Bill and his staff are so helpful and attentive. Can ask them anything. Can't do enough to ensure your stay is pleasant.

We have long vacationed in southern Maine. But our four girls, age 7-13, are adventurous and we wanted to experience northern Maine. We found West Quoddy station through a Google search and it seemed too good to be true. It exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the meeting house which was expansive and well kept. The setting of Lubec Maine was perfect. Every hike and trip held vistas that looked like scenes from a movie, towering oceanside cliffs, unspoiled forest, and small deserted coves and beaches. We did multiple hikes and each one was more breathtaking than anything you’d see in Acadia national park. We also brought passports and traveled to Canada visiting Campibello island, FDR’s summer home. The owner, Bill, was very knowledgeable and helpful, wish we’d had more time to talk with him! I’m so glad he has made this place to share the beauty of Lubec and this most eastern part of Maine.

We had a great 2-night stay here in the Camp building. The space was rustic style, nicely decorated and comfortable for four adults. Self check-in and check-out went smoothly and the instructions were complete and accurate. The location is about a mile from the West Quoddy Lighthouse and State Park, which are at the easternmost point of the US. We watched an amazing sunrise and had a nice hike in the park. We would definitely stay here again and leave a little more time for exploring the area.

The views are Great. The location is good, Not a lot of good eating establishments. We stayed two nights on the second night at 11:00 there was a leak coming from the ceiling presumably from an overflow on the second floor the leak was right over the bed, we immediately called the provided # for Amanda and it went to voicemail we left a message and also texted. my traveling companion moved to sleeping on the couch since the bed was saturated, we did not get a response until after we checked out the next morning and that response was only "Sorry I was sleeping. I will be in and check it out little later" No, we are sorry for the inconvenience or we are sorry this happened Or Did anything of your stuff get damaged. Thank god it wasn't a burst pipe or anything more serious or we would have had to sleep in the car. Make sure you have a contingency plan if the rooms become unusable after the...
