Of all the organized rides I go on, Lumber River Campground will always have my heart. ❤️ Every time I pull in, it just feels like home with family. Everybody helps everybody, the atmosphere is pure fun, and the friendships run deep. They do it right there — a beautiful barn with great facilities, two nights of delicious dinners, and activities for the whole family. Even if you’re not into camping, you can still fish, hang out, or join the fun. This year they even had trick-or-treating from the trailers for the kids and a Haunted Trail that was spooky, hilarious, and totally kid-friendly. The trail ride on Saturday was loads of fun — and somehow I still ended up riding with three children. 😅 So, in true Alecia fashion, we started playing Simon Says out on the trail! I wouldn’t trade these days for anything. 🐴💖 I got to spend the weekend with my daughter, who met me there from college, and it was the best feeling having her back with the horses and our trail family. I saw old friends I hadn’t seen in forever, made new ones, and danced the night away (well… almost). The highlight of the whole weekend, though? When Sarah and I went to get in the truck to head to the Haunted Trail, and I turned around to find a young man passed out at the back of my truck. I asked, “Sarah, do you know this man?” She said, “No!” Once I realized who it was, I had to go find his people to come collect him. We laughed until I was crying. 🤣 Honestly, I had so much fun that Saturday night I didn’t even make it to the party — I was in my trailer by 8:30 and asleep by 9:30! That’s how you know it was a good weekend. Already counting down the days until the next Lumber River ride. 💃🎃🐴 #fyp #horse #cowboy #cowgirl #trail
