Thee BEST RV Park I’ve ever stayed at! The owners are very friendly, caring and the best hosts you’ll ever have! We stayed here from May-October 2022 as we travel where the work is. Only water and electric hookup to some of the spots but they offer a $50 honey wagon service as an add on. However, at the end of the season there was some spots that are now full service. Awesome bike trail cuts right through the woods behind the campground for dog walking or exercise. There is a shower house on site with hot water but I recommend taking showers in the day bc when the workers get home at night it does start to form a line as there is only 2 showers. Fire pits, a pond to go fishing or kayaking, local brewery, bars and restaurants are fantastic! Check out the blue mounds state park if you’re staying here for a few days! Seriously the best place I’ve stayed!! Will always stay here if I ever pass through again. Also, you’re in the woods, wear LOTS of bug spray when outside :)

This stop was just a quick overnight on our journey eastbound. We fell in love with the neighboring town (Luverne, MN). The town is quaint and loaded with things to do and see. One of the town’s paved bike trails even connects the campground to town and passes through a beautiful town park, the Rocky River and a grassy field. The campground was quiet with a forest on one side and a field on the other, and the campground was quick to respond to questions. The campground is pretty close to I-90 but you couldn’t hear any highway noise.

Great value. Full hookups $35. Good Wi-Fi! We only did a quick overnight, so we only connected electric. 2 private shower/bathrooms were clean and nice. Most of the spots under the trees were taken by long term rigs. Pull through spot #9 still required some leveling and we had to unhook to get level front to back. Overall, it was a nice place to stay. We walked on the paved bike path down to the most amazing city park I've ever seen

This campground owner is so friendly and responsive! We called at 5:30pm on a Friday night and he answered and got us a spot for that night, then called back an hour later to let us know a better (FHU/ longer) site had just opened up and he had moved us to it at no additional charge! Then the next day he accommodated us with a late checkout (thank you soooo much!!).

The site was quiet and level with beautiful picturesque tall trees. A bit of a challenge to get into/ out of without driving on the grass due to the utilities being at the end of the site and where the trees are (we're a 45ft class A towing an f150 and we didn't unhook) but we made it work. The sites are dirt but luckily it hasn't rained so it wasn't an issue to be slightly in the grass. If you call to make your reservation and pay cash/ check onsite, it's only $30 ($37 online due to credit card/ hipcamp booking fees). Quite a bargain IMO!

The campground has a nice large playground that my young kids LOVED, and it has a really nice paved bike/ running path behind it that appears to connect to the lovely Laverne City Park that is a couple minutes away. There are HUGE playgrounds at the city park that our kids would have loved, and the Laverne Main Street had a brewery and a couple coffee shops. Two of the restaurants even had bounce houses set up (it's Saturday)! The city (only a couple minutes drive from the campground) looks very kid friendly. We saw it as we were driving out, and both commented that we wished we had stayed 2 nights so we could have checked it out!

We'll definitely stay here again next time we come through Laverne MN, and we'll try to stay 2 nights next time! Thank you again for your kindness and excellent...

From the campground, I-90 can be seen and heard, but it's a background drone, not an overwhelming roar. Very little to no traffic on the gravel road to/beside the camp. There is a dump station on the way out; sites have water/electric, but no sewer. Wi-Fi averages 8-9 MB down, according to fast dot Com. Two toilet/shower stalls: and the one I was in was tidy. There is a nice looking jungle gym for children. The and campground appears well-maintained and tidy; about two thirds full on a Wednesday in early August 2023 Look at the layout picture someone else posted; the row of sites away from the county road are more shaded than the row adjacent to the road. Most of the sites are pull-through and easy to manage. A 30 ft trailer plus truck will barely squeeze in, but my 20 ft trailer and crew cab truck had room to spare in lot 5. The lots are spacious, and each has a fire ring and picnic table. We were just passing through for one night, but 10/10 would stay again, in this clean campground without frills, for a reasonable price of $30/nite...
