Our stay there was fantastic! The beautiful 200+-year-old house expanded over the years. Joyce is an amazing person and took such great care of us! She gave us a little history of the house, we lucked out and had the whole main house to ourselves, as well as preparing our breakfast each morning to our liking. She's an excellent cook and even surprised me with a lemon pie for my birthday AND a birthday card! The house is about 2 miles from Jack Daniels Distillery and only about a mile or so from downtown Lynchburg. Big emphasis on "town", everyone we encountered was super nice, friendly, and helpful. We are already planning a bigger stay, more family, shortly! Check out their website: lynchburgvalleyinn.com for a better look and a little history of the place. Highly recommend staying in the main house, antiques, and...

Ms Joyce is an amazing host!! She text us to remind us of check in times and even allowed us to check in early. The pines suite was very clean and well stocked. There were even sodas, waters, and snacks left out for us. I especially liked that the rooms have their own keys, the pines suit has 2 locking doors so that made us feel very secure. Hot breakfast made in the mornings by Ms. Joyce herself (10/10). The bed in the pines suite is listed as a queen but slept more like a full. The ceiling fan in the bedroom has a tick to it when it’s ran on high. However, if you’re like we were and need some sound going to be able to sleep, the vent a hood in the kitchen can be heard in the bedroom. Overall a wonderful experience. Beats any hotel I’ve ever been...

Such a beautiful home and Joyce the owner is phenomenal. Joyce is so friendly, warm loving and accommodating in every way. And she even makes a hot delicious breakfast in the mornings for her guests.

The house is only minutes from downtown square and what a wonderful location it is. It's near a woodsy area and it's extremely quiet and relaxing. I loved it so much that I didn't wish to leave in the morning, but the wife made me. LoL At dusk there was a nice surprise watching the lightning bugs buzz around.

I can't say enough about Lynchburg Valley Inn. If you are in the area and plan on staying the evening after visiting Jack Daniels Distillery, look no further. Joyce will make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door to her...

Stayed one night after a whirlwind few days at Bonnaroo to allow us to see the Jack Daniels Distillery. The distillery is about a 20 walk from the house and so is perfect location down a quiet country lane. You walk through the town square where there are options for dinner but note everything closes early ~6pm being a country town. This beautiful house was once home to the Great Grandneice of Jack Daniels and is kept in amazing condition by it's proprietor Joyce. Joyce showed us the meaning of 'Southern Hospitality' being so welcoming and friendly. She cooked us an amazing breakfast with biscuits, bacon and eggs in the morning. The rooms and common spaces are lovely and I cannot recommend staying here highly enough.
