I wholeheartedly agree with most of the positive and negative reviews. You can tell that the owners put a lot of time and consideration into the cleanliness of the campground as well as the store that offered anything you may have forgotten to pack. Sites are very small. We brought in a 14' pop up and were told that we'd fit on a large tent site. It was very challenging to get the trailer on the site and still very small. All tent sites are stacked on top of each other and again-no privacy. My biggest complaint was the lack of supervision. Cars were in and out all night even past midnight. The site next to us arrived around 10 pm (we were in bed) and were extremely loud and inconsiderate. Later that same evening the tent site two up from us had loud men drinking and kept me awake past midnight until I marched out and over and told them to shut up. I'd recommend the owners make some policies surrounding incoming/outgoing vehicles, quiet hours, and check in time. This alone...
Read moreVery clean bath house and great little patio in front of the camp store. Easily the cleanest/well maintained campground I’ve ever been to. Maybe it’s all just super new? Awesome that there was power and water at our site. However, the interior tent sites are anything but spacious. The campground was full last night and we could hear the (normal volume) conversations going on in the tent at the next site. Site was not big enough for a 4 person tent + car. The rv sites looked amazing. Gorgeous view and more spacious but I’m guessing they are booked by the season. I would contemplate going back and staying at one of the rv sites or during an off time when it’s not anywhere near full. They’ve obviously put a lot of money and effort in to making this a nice campground but they’ve squeezed about 10 too many sites in...
Read moreI’ve been camping in Vermont since I was a little girl. Although the campground is well maintained and convenient, there is absolutely no privacy at all. The camp sites are on top of each other with no trees or anything to divide them. This would be ideal if you and a large party were renting multiple sites next to each other but other than that it’s horrible. You can hear your neighbors whispers and snores… The electrical outlets at each site are the only upside. There is also no water front unlike VT State Parks, which I highly recommend. Also, my site was not cleaned before I got there, there were onions scattered on the ground from the previous tenants. I would not...
