Deerhaven RV Park — Hotel in Lynn Haven

Lived there for roughly 3 years and once they changed owners of the park it was nothing but bad experience with them. First the new owners are thieves. After the hurricane they pressered and Hoodwinked my mother out of her deed to her damaged trailer and looted all of the remaining personal belongings inside from me and my mother and my sister without even giving a phone call to notify when they was going to clear out everything or move the trailer. When they knew we all had plans to come back with a moving truck once we had found a new place to live to get the remaining stuff inside but rather call any of the 3 people to which they had our numbers and spoken to previously besides calling or notifying when they would be moving the trailer they "stole" furniture,appliances and even threw family pictures & heirlooms on the floors and took everything out of state, they even took my mother's clothes from out of her closet. *Keep in mind this is after a hurricane devastated our home. They managed to move all of our stuff they wanted out of the trailer but failed to move the trailer so they took our stuff under the guise of needing to remove the trailer but failed to move the trailer but they managed to remove our stuff...hmmmm suspecious sounding aint it. They significantly raised the price of lot rent with nothing to show for it, they never made any upgrades or improvements to the park such as improving park wifi, landscaping, or even simply building a privacy fence between the park and a very busy highway. The new owners live out of state and therefore have very little Todo with the park or maintenance of the park. Do not stay here, nothing but troubles. After the hurricane that left many of the residents and their homes in bad shape they started threatening evictions of many of the residents due they're Rv's or Mobile Homes was "eye sores" this is after a Cat 4 with Cat 5 wind gusts just devastated everything in the city and park. The manager and maintenance man are decent people but the owners...

Very unprofessional! I was asked by the manager, Carol, to take pictures of my camper. So I took the requested pictures. I sent them in and was sent back a list of the park rules, and had planned to meet with the manager to pay my first month lot rent. Two hours on the day I was planning to take the money, I get a message from Carol stating that the Owner of DeerHaven said no to my camper coming in because someone else had at one time sent fake pictures of their camper in and now they couldn’t get those people to leave. They were literally accusing me of the pics that I took and sent them as being fake! I don’t recommend anyone do business with this campground. The owners are real pieces of work handling...

I love it here. The manager is the best and very nice and helpful. It is always full here. It's very quiet ...the maintenance person is always mowing the grounds and helping the campers with what ever they need. I will stay here forever. It seems to also be a sweet spot as far as storms, they seem to always go around us. If a spot ever comes open I would...
