We love this place if you want a clean and quiet peaceful place this is your place it has great walking trails beautiful views and the staff are so helpful and nice they make you feel at home and with just two of them keeping everything nice and clean it is amazing how clean and well kept this place is we have found our new home away from home place love it so much the lake is great to .I wanted to add to my post omg the park ranger mrs.mary is the hardest working person she is not only running the office she is out cleaning and picking up she works harder than anyone I have seen at a campground to make she everything is well kept and safe and clean for her campers .this lady was a life saver for us we lost our little puppy on july 4th at the best fireworks show ever and Mrs. Mary and half of the campers helped us find her. this campground has the best campers around and Mrs. Mary bless her heart worked so hard to make the 4th of july fireworks show so family friendly no one was arguing no drinking this was the most family friendly event I have ever been to if you want a family friendly place and a nice and clean place to camp you need to come here you will be so pleased with Mrs. Mary and this park I can't wait for next 4th of July we had a blast already making sure we have a spot for Thanksgiving. I wish we could be here every week end .Thank you Mrs. Mary for giving us a place so nice and clean to come to and enjoy...

The grounds were clean but the Ranger and the guy that helps her were not very knowledgeable or very helpful. We just needed a spot to pitch a tent in a primitive camping area but they didn't seem to understand that. They kept offering a paved parking space for an RV with running water and electricity. Once we got camp set up in the area they told us was designed for tent camping they came and told us that we could not park at our campsite and that we would have to park way out on the road by the pavilion. I have never heard of not being able to park at your campsite. My husband talked them into letting us keep our trucks at our site which was good since I was getting upset about having to park my truck were there was going to be A LOT of traffic. That's another thing! The pavilion we were fairly close-ish to was rented out for a large gathering (we were told 50 people or more) the next day but they didn't think that was an important thing for us to know BEFORE we set up camp. The next day we had to listen to LOUD music and LOUD people from 11AM to 6PM. The bugs were terrible! And they didn't tell us there was a shower house with hot water across the way until it was almost time for us to leave! Ice cold showers are not fun or enjoyable. From here on out we're driving to Soso to camp at Big...

Road to the Camp Ground is narrow and has several trees needing to be trimmed for camper passage! Campground is a Jewel in the Rough! Very friendly staff! Great campground-good utilities. Peaceful, trees galore, lake is great, facilities clean lots of trails for hiking! Would visit again for sure! Main entry signage needs to be relocated though for large camper turns to be made. Large fifth wheel and truck turns have to be made slow to not "clip" the entry station shack with the tail of the camper. Moving the guy wire and signage just inside the park entry back will allow for more turning space. Again, great park will visit again! We camped at Dry Creek Water Park in a Fifth Wheel. Visit the small town of Mt Olive - nice little town - MIMIs restaurant is highly rated for breakfast. Town of Magee is 8 miles from park and has all amenities. Fernandos Mexican...

a dusting of snow in south MS! crunchy, cold, and extremely beautiful! 19 degrees, the wind knocking flakes off the trees, the steam coming off the water. it's magical! #drycreekwaterpark

Great Mississippi park, Nothing Fancy but has - full hookups, large sites, lots of trees, beautiful lake, nature trails. Great for a quiet get-a-way. Halfway between Hattieburg and Jackson MS on Hwy 49. Pat Harrison Waterway has a great staff - especially MS Mary, if you need anything just call her. She even made our next reservation just by talking with her, while out walking, and it was done. Great Service. Alreay have our next trip reserved.

Dry Creek Water Park is a great place. Its quiet and clean. Its has lots of camping space. If you want to have a nice picnic there are plenty of picnic spots around by the Lake. Planning a gathering, we have a Pavillion for your meeting. There are bike and walking trails. Come see God's creation. There is a lot to be thankful for.
