On october 11th My girlfriend and I stayed at this resort. The day after checkout we noticed a 100 dollar charge additional to the room. We called to inquired and were immediately accused of stealing the TV remote control for the room, as well as blamed for additional hotel cancellations "because no one wants to stay in a room without a remote". We were sympathetic and felt like there may have been a chance that we accidentally took the remote, so we looked and searched when we got home to ND, but found no TV remote. We did not take any remote and have been charged for a remote that we didnt take at the expense of 100 dollars (a replacement TV remote probably costs 10 dollars). But I will reiterate, we did NOT take their remote. I tried contacting the business several times and was told finally that they are not worried about the remote and we would be refunded (I am assuming they found the remote). 2 weeks later there is no refund, I call every few daysand leave messages but no one will return my calls. UPDATE: I ended up continuting to call as well as filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office, a few days later i call and finally get through to Dennis the owner, who greets me very rudely, telling me he is so sick of hearing from me and that i would be glad if i got 10 cents back after the review my girlfriend left the night before. A few days after this very unproductive conversation and a few more reviews my girlfriends account was finally refunded. It took a month and alot of work and frustration. I have to believe we are not the only ones out there who have been treated so...
Read moreGreat place to camp. Quiet and family friendly. Very clean and tidy. $48 for the night with full hookups. $10 per adult ( slightly less for kids) to use the indoor spa, hot spring pool and hot tub plus a cold pool. Well worth it, tho charging $60-75 a site would probably be better since most campgrounds don’t charge extra for pool or amenities. Spa is very hot, smells of sage, nicest I’ve been in. 48 degree cold pool is just outside spa. Hot tub is 106 and about 40 long by 12’ long walks are tile benches. Pool is gigantic around 95 degrees. Nicest pool I’ve swam in. Smells of sulphur but it’s hot spring fed so supposed to! Reminds me a bit of the geyser field at Yellowstone. Nice bathrooms and shower off pool. Pool is wonderful to swim in, open 8am to 9pm. Campground bathhouse looks to be original from the 1950s. We used our RV and the indoor facilities. Great fire rings, horse shoe pits. Kids ran and played with neighbor RVs kids. Michele at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. Store is well stocked with supplies, beer, wine, pool floaties and goggles. They deliver cooked (local handmade frozen pizza pies the front desk cooks) to your table if you ask at the pool which was great. for kids. I don’t like swimming pools, preferring lakes and rivers, but this place is wonderful. I swam fit 2 hours and roasted in the spa. I’m looking forward to a swim in the morning before we leave and plan to visit again in the future....

We were headed from Glacier National Park to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Everyone in the family was excited to see Hot Springs on the map! This resort is less than a mile off the highway, but we heard no highway noise. Both hotel and RV guests will find a spot to rest here.
Sleeping Buffalo Hot Springs was an unforgettable highlight of our 7,009-mile RV adventure! We had a full hookup site, which made our stay super convenient for our family of five. The hot spring pools were incredible—clean, well-maintained, and not at all crowded. Each member of our family found a favorite spot to relax, and the variety of pools made it fun for all ages.
The staff was attentive and kind, keeping a close eye on the pool deck while also being genuinely friendly and helpful. The entire atmosphere felt welcoming and peaceful, which can be hard to find during busy travel season.
The facilities were top notch—honestly, some of the nicest we’ve seen, and we’ve been to many hot springs across the country. You can tell the team here takes pride in the experience they offer.
Our kids are already asking when we’ll be passing through Montana again, and we’re right there with them! If you’re anywhere near Sleeping Buffalo, don’t miss this gem. Highly...
