We had a bad experience with May lake : we had a reservation for one night and had received a confirmation we could still come despite the wildfires. On the day we arrived, there was a lot of smoke and ash on the parking lot. We found it very irresponsible to tell us to come in these conditions... we called at least 10 times on that day and in the next 3 weeks to say we needed to cancel given these conditions .. The answer took a long time to come and we finally received a mail talking about a "no refund policy" ! Communications could be improved. And the "no refund policy" especially under such special circumstances !
...We hope there will be an action to make up for this very bad experience as we were looking forward to experiencing Yosemite with the High...
