We spent a weekend at L.V. Campground during the Coggon storm a few weeks ago. We were surprised that only one camper, truck and some tents were damaged but no one was hurt. What really impressed me was that the storm hit late morning and by the end of the afternoon a uprooted tree luckily fell away from any buiding's was cleared, cutup, cleaned and wood stacked up neatly. I don't know where this group of people came from but they brought the campground back to normal again in just a matter of hours.
The owners were very nice! They knew who we were when I reserved another spot for Aug, which was very impressive!! Jerry stopped by after the storm to check on us and the other campers to make sure we were all safe and so was our camper.
Every time we walked into the office there were people to greet us and help if needed. The grounds were nice, pool very clean. We watched them clean the pool and pool area every morning. Bathrooms were fully stocked with toilet paper, soap and hand sanitizer. Floors were as clean as expected from any other campground.
Hands down probably the nicest LS campground we've been to in a long time...We are from Minnesota, the drive is long but well worth the extra time to come. See you...
Read moreLove this campground and have been going there for a long time, but I was there over the men's only 4th of July weekend and while they are making strides to fix the place up, but the pool on Friday was already cloudy/milky, green and gross. I don't know what they are using to clean and shock the pool or lack there of, but it should be like that at the beginning of probably their biggest events of the summer.
I was told they are at or close to capacity so they are obviously making money. Why was this not addressed prior to the weekend starting? I went in Friday, but Saturday my skin was itching painfully (lower back, back of knees) and is red and sore and still is today 2 days later. My partner also said they think they have an ear infection now too.
The pool and atmosphere around it is one of the main reasons we go out there and this makes us not want...
Read moreThe best LGBTQ camp and glampground Everrrrrrr!!!!! Please respect the owners and camp ground. Please keep it clean and pick up after yourselves. This is a LGBTQ Safe zone. They are very nice people and work very hard to keep it a continued service. I love them and the place. I plan to go back as soon as I am able. Last time I was there was in 2012. This is a adult camp ground. If you have children under 18 years old, you should call them to see if there is any legalities pre camping procedures or legal documents, terms and conditions to sign or digitally sign and agree to. Like I said this is a adult camp ground and you will want to read information on their website. If you don't agree, good news is you then do not get to camp there. If you change your mind, goid news, you can always pack up and go some where else! Last time I was there was 2012. I...
