This trip was to be a short one, and I was glad to see Mrs. Brenda again. I am thankful for the hospitality and safe feel I get staying here over other places. I have always gotten a great price through the front desk with a military discount vs. going through websites which have terrible customer service when there is even a slight change in date. I can always call and get a room on short notice with an actual person on-site. Check-in is easy and cheerful. I appreciate them remembering my name when I come in. They usually have my paperwork already printed and ready for me to sign and a key waiting for me. That in of itself is super because sometimes checking in at other places is long drawn out and cumbersome. I've stayed in multiple different room types and have seen no problems like others have mentioned. I'm glad I didn't listen to the complaints and give them a try. I guess Karen's are gonna Karen wherever they can. I just chalk it up to some people are either entitled or just grumpy everywhere they go? Clean sheets, clean towels, A/C worked, heater always works. Lobby is NICE. Mirrors were clean. Toilet/bathroom clean.
I've seen improvements over my different times here, and it shows that they are continuously working on the place. I've never seen a space heater in the rooms. But, if they have them, the hotel went above and beyond to ensure guests have a warm place to stay in for the few cold nights Central...
Read moreFirst, let me say, Tyesha was fantastic! She was the receptionist and went above and beyond to try to help. She made my children more delicious breakfast, even though we arrived at 10 minutes till 9, which was super to me because they had been playing in a football tournament and did not want to get up earlier oh, so I was prepared to take them out to eat had we been too late. She also walked down to my room when the Raggedy telephone wouldn't work to take care of my request. TYESHA DESERVES 5 STARS! The motel itself? Doesn't deserve, by Wyndham. My goodness! The telephone did not work , it had a cord on it that was about 20 ft long and completely Tangled all the way up. The Clocks Were set 30 minutes behind, the TVs were super pixelated and the bathroom was just scary. Sometimes, you have to hire out people. It looks like a two-year-old did the caulking job and the bathroom was just super dark and dingy looking. The shower was permanently dirty, as the floor was white with built-in grippers that were all brown. We've stayed in a couple of other Super 8 by Wyndham and they were very nice, this one does not...
Read moreLiterally the worst hotel I’ve ever had to stay at. First off the doors don’t lock and you can just walk right inside. Had to put the broken couch chair in front of it. I Used my Wyndham points and instantly regretted it. There was no hot water to shower with only cold, the toilet wouldn’t flush nor was there a lid on the back of the toilet, it was 28 degrees outside and the heater wouldn’t work. Also, I asked for 2 extra blankets (one for each bed since we had two beds that only had a sheet on each one) and they said what’s in the room is all we could get. Also, the vending machine for drinks would take our money, but not give us drinks and the office didn’t do refunds. And to put the icing on the cake we couldn’t get no personal hygiene products (even offered to pay for them so I could get some) and when asking nicely if they had any I was hung up on. NEVER AGAIN will I stay there. WORST....
