Worst managed/maintained RV park I've ever stayed in for the price!! Management is new within past 3-4 months but from what I hear it was very well managed prior. Brochure needs to be updated to be more accurate; pictures are very deceiving.... Very pricey ($755/month + extra car $25 + pets $15 each + gate key $25 each, $44/night) for amenities mentioned that aren't available. There is no golf course(been grown up for months), pool and hot tub are rarely working, more than half the washers and dryers are out of order and have been for months. Wifi is only at pool and office although they promised to get WiFi throughout the park months ago. Maintenance guys ride around on carts and never work. Leaves pile up and never get blown around every spot, grass is rarely mowed, trash is picked up daily but don't put it in a trash can because apparently that's a foreign concept. When office is closed they close down everything in park (laundry, pool and hot tub even when rarely working). Sprinklers have been broken for months although they keep claiming to fix them therefore all the grass is dying. They expect residents here to maintain their own lawn if they want them kept clean regardless that they have maintenance guys that are getting paid to do it. They nit pick residents and write tickets for minimal stuff (having your parking pass on your dash in clear view instead of hanging on your rearview mirror or having part of a tire on black top). The parking spaces are awful and you can rarely park two vehicles in your space so you may be left walking quite a ways to your RV. Their only concern is to add more RV spaces to the park so they have money gain; they don't seem to care about the residents. Management promises to fix things but never put forth an effort to do so. The other office staff are really nice but oblivious and never have access to anything without the manager. They claim you can't have older trailers stay in the park but there are numerous very old rvs with porches built and outside structures (which aren't supposed to be allowed). There are hundreds of ferrel cats roaming the park that tear up trash, bed and tear up under RVs and are a nuisance yet management just turns a blind eye. People walk their dogs and let them poop everywhere and don't clean up after them; after all, the doggie bag stations are always empty. There are 197 spaces here at nearly 160 long term paying the $755+ a month. With the lack of amenities, management and upkeep here the monthly price should be no...
Read moreI checked in. Got to my spot and discovered dog poop everywhere on the lawn, along with some sort of animal bones. Had to clean it all up so my dog could use the area. Also one big bag of trash in front of my place. Went to hook up the cable to discover there was no cable. Asked at the front and was told the cable was going to be worked on next week. Next week came and still no cable. Now I’m wondering if they don’t offer cable because of long term tenants. But if that is the case, why tell me it was going to be fixed? ||||Poor trash hygiene here. You are supposed to put your trash in front to be picked up. Some people leave trash sitting out overnight. Have seen feral cats and have seen trash bags torn apart as these cats (and maybe dogs) go to eat the left overs from these bags. ||||Had people behind me who seemed to be long term tenants. They do not follow the rule of your dog has to be leashed. No one enforced it. So they had their dogs come over to my little patch of dirt and weeds to take care of business. Walked out of my trailer many times to only be greeted by yapping dogs who were peeing or pooping on the spot I had paid for. The owners yell out the dogs names, but do not come get them. I was still picking up poop that didn’t belong to my dog and picking up more bones so my dog wouldn’t choke on it. ||||The pro is that it actually was quiet here at night. That, at least, was a relief. ||||This would be an okay spot if you are only staying a night or two. Longer than that you would probably want to find a nicer spot that offers better trash pickup. Also, since a lot of the people in the park are long term tenants, you more feel like you are renting in a neighborhood versus an actual RV Park. ||||I would stay here again if I was only passing through and staying a night. A real vacation, it would be worth it to pay a little more and actually feel like you’re on vacation, not a dreaded nightmare. ||||Such a big disappointment. Such a waste...
Read moreWe're in town for a 3 month work contract. This park was recommended. All in all, it is a nice park. It is gated, requires a key card, and has a security guard on site all evening, as well as a camp host. Sites are a very nice size with concrete pads, many with trees/shade. The park is quiet (no interstate/train/factory noise) and family oriented. Pool & hot tub. Playground. Clean laundry room with newer equipment, and large utility sink, but prices are a little steep and several dryers either don't work or are missing buttons. There also is a huge community pavilion for group gatherings.
We were excited to hear that they have paved walking paths all around the property. Apparently this park used to be an old golf course and they now use the golf cart paths as walking paths. However, they don't really maintain then; a little mowing would go a long way. There is also a small gym for $15 a month, and a restaurant/bar up by the office. We hear the food is good and they have frequent activities.
If internet is a necessity for you at the site, this may not be a good fit. We've not been able find an ISP to connect us at the site, but our Verizon mifi works great!
I've withheld the fifth star in our review only because they require you to pay an additional fee for a 2nd vehicle (not a problem). BUT said overflow parking is SUPER limited, and the spaces are narrow, requiring big trucks to occupy more than one spot. Therefore spots are often not available (big problem).
We've had a very positive experience with all the staff, maintenance and landscaping crew. We also LOVE that they blow the sites several times a week and pick up trash directly from...
